I come downstairs for dinner and sit down with my mom, dad and my little brother Jake to have creamy lasagna one of my favourite dishes.

My mom keeps looking at me anxiously before saying "So Audrey how was school? I hear you were on the front page with the new girl princess Aria! I know you've been through a lot and I'm so proud of you for moving on. How about you invite her over for dinner one day this week?"

I nod taking this all in before saying "Aria seems like a nice girl it's just I don't know she seems distant and I feel like she doesn't like me very much. I think I insulted her."

My mom gets up and moves closer to me giving me a hug. "Aria may be scared all her life she has had cameras in her face she may not know what having friends is like she may have had friends who just wanted to be with her because of her position in the royal family or something. Trust me she will become your friend try to welcome her and don't mention her ranking and money. Remember honey don't judge a person based on their name and wealth get to know them she may be a normal teenage girl."

And with that, I head off to bed and soon enough I am asleep dreaming of tomorrow.

I wake up and head to school I have Chemistry and Geography so collecting those books and double-checking if I had my homework.

As I turn to leave, I see Aria walking up the stairs gracefully she smiles at me while placing her bags in her locker.

"Hey! How are you?" I say with a tone of happiness

"Yeah, I'm good thank you! Just trying to get the hang of this school and the schedule."

"Hmm okay, then How about I show you your classes for the morning now and you will know where to go?"

"Okay then," Aria says thoughtfully.

I show Aria to her art class and sit down on a table outside she follows me and does the same.

"So... What do you enjoy doing in your free time?" I say desperately to make a conversation.

"umm I'm a boring person, to be honest, I just study or revise or do some sports." She says bored

"Okay then If you need any help with anything let me know K?" I say pridefully.

"There is one thing. This may sound weird or childish but can we meet up on the weekend and go to a restaurant or something you know get to know each other without being in school? If you know you're not busy and stuff."

"Really? Sure. I'm free on Saturday that okay for you?" I say surprised yet happy.

"Sure," she says looking relieved and worn-out

I head off to the common rooms to rest and maybe make some plans for Saturday.

I take out my laptop and sit on the sinking black sofa. Thinking of life and how good and bad are like friends one of them come and then the other comes in a repeated circle that is called life. But hey look on the positive all these problems are going to make me stronger. Each one is going to determine my character if I fall and get up or just stay on the ground. They will determine who I am. While I have fallen eventually, I have gotten up and shown who I am.

On Friday I am approached by Jacob Calichon.

"Audrey!!!" He says as he spots me sporting his pearly whites.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for making Aria feel welcome! She has always had a hard time making friends so thank you so much! She is so happy when she gets home always talking about you and what you do for her and how she feels like you and her have a connection! Also, I heard you're going out on Saturday night?" He says eagerly.

"It's no problem Aria is such a sweet, caring girl she deserves a friend she can trust and yes we are going out on Saturday! I hope that's okay?" I say nervously.

"Yes, that's all fine Audrey! Where are you going out? I would like to know so I can have the necessary security and finances."

"We have decided to go to Nando's the one on the high street near the mall so we can go shopping after."

"Okay have fun." He says smiling and turning to jump into his gleaming Mercedes.
