Chapter 5: Harvest Greens

Josuke's POV

" I can't believe this I only have 285 yen to my name! I had 20,000 saved up for those Gucci shoes but now it's gone! That old geezer, he charged all the baby supplies to my name. Though he did pay me back in full, and I bet stupid Rohan is buying the shoes for himself right now! What a world we live in ;-; "

    I hate this so much, My grip practically bent the little slip of bank paper like broken glass. The small room feels like it's getting smaller as my day keeps going while I stand in the bank in silence. But out of the corner of my eye I notice something. Something moving under the cabinet next to me by the siding doors. I lean down to investigate and " Aughh I filthy cockroach." It skurrays away out the door. ' That's a health code violation' my mind jumps to, but glancing back there is something else under the chest. It's tiny but, it looks like. A Stand! And it's holding a 1 yen coin! As soon as it notices my stare it too runs out the door. Only this time I chase after it too. Enraged at the thought that it's user could be using his stand to find money while I'm stuck here with a dumbass 285. I start going  a sprint for as tiny as this stand is it's hella swift especially around corners. "Where the hell is it going," I pant " huh there's another one?" they start coming together is=n large numbers in front of me. 

An angry but very familiar voice comes tailing me from behind "You're about to be slaughtered!" 

" Okuyasu!" I say still running.

"Look Josuke it's an enemy stand, woah wait now there are more of them!"

"I followed the little pest all the way from the bank, where did the one you're after spawn?" I ask him as we start catching up to the stand.

"Well I was trying to buy a seltzer water from the vending machine, but the pest took my money and sped off."

"If it did not attack you why were you ranting about wanting to smash it then?"

" Because the damn brat startled me so much I spilled water all over my uniform, I want my money back dammit!" :-:

 All of a sudden we made another turn and a bunch, no dozens more of them joined together like a herd of wild animals all shouting ' I got one' I thought with their numbers they are similar to Keicho's Stand in that way, but that doesn't solve anything when we don't know their attack methods, so we just follow them up a hill and into the greenery. Once we got to the top of the hill they all were gathering at the foot of a tree, so me and Okuyasu duck behind a bush and just watch, baffled as they all practically eject and release all the money gathered in the air.

"Oh that's right it took a 1 yen coin from the bank, crazy as it is I bet the rest got here the same way." Then we heard a new voice. Leaning down behind the bushes again we could see a small looking person with a spike head? Maybe that's the user. I couldn't hear them so well but what both me and Okuyasu did catch was 5,000 yen which is enough to make our faces light up.

    "As long as I have you, Harvest, I will be covered for the rest of my life." He cackles 

    I leaned in to tell Okuyasu about how he must have been hit by the stand arrow too. But from above the rustling stopped me as we looked up in horror to the kids face billowing us in shadow. He looked terrifying. I nearly screeched when his face went from shadow to a happy go lucky smile. 

 Now out of the bushes he speaks to us " Wow! This is so neat, I didn't know others could see my Harvest too." 

We kinda just side eyes him. Too busy staring at the mountain of money he had before us.
