A young girl was shadowing her father, begging to hear the story one last time.
" Tell me a story," Diamond asked," tell me the one about Henry". she pulled at the cuff of her father's shirt, then started to kick him.
"oh, you don't want to hear that one again. it's so boring I might fall asleep." He fell backward onto his bed, closing his eyes and pretending to snore.
" No, No, No!" she stomped her feet and yelled tears dripping down her red cheeks. but they were black and thick like tar. they slowly traveled down her face, staining it black.
He rose from his bed and picked up the small girl by her sides. he gingerly wiped her tears away with his thumb, but her face was still smeared with black stains.
" you know I don't like to see you cry. come here," he patted the space next to him on the bed. " but only until your mother and sister get home. then we're having birthday dinner."
She nodded her head eagerly, but at that point, she would have agreed to anything to hear the story.
" I don't get why you like it so much," he said, " It's a very dark story."
" Just tell me the story!" she pushed and pulled at her father's arm, making him rock back and forth. " I want to hear it before you go."
" ok, ok," he said. he put his hands up in surrender "Here's how it started"

4,000 years ago, back in 3056, one man had a vision, a dream. to change the world.
His name was Henry Jant and he had claimed to develop a serum where he could see the afterlife. and it was beautiful. he said that there not many people there, and all you had to do was die and you would go there. he called it heaven. he said that there were devils and angels but it didn't matter because everyone got along.
he had arranged a conference that was live on television. after telling everyone what he had learned, he had cut his throat, right in the middle of the conference. he committed suicide.
everyone was in a great panic, but suicide rates were higher than ever. everyone wanted to go to "Heaven". the world population went from 7.7 billion to 4.6 billion in 3 short years. but no one on earth was sure that they had gone to "Heaven" or died in vain. that didn't stop the suicides though. 10 years later the world population was 3.8 billion.
and he was right. there was a heaven. the people who died were separated into angels and devils, but no one was sure if it was random or if it was a reflection of what kind of person you are.
The devils and angels looked very different and acted very different. Angels often had blonde hair and green or blue eyes. their wings are large and have white feathers. Angels preferred order peace and conformity over freedom violence and individuality. Devils Had dark brown or black hair, and deep chocolate eyes, almost black. they had little use for rules and would rather play and be free. they didn't hide their emotions as the angels did but freely expressed themselves. they cried black tears, that the angels found repulsive.
Heaven itself was beautiful. the land was so green and tranquil, the sun always shining in Heaven. the land was divided between angels and devils, but it was hard to tell. the only difference was that the angels had no animals. the forest there was always quiet and had an eerie creepiness to it like someone was watching you. the devil's part of the forest was full of life.
now, I'm making it seem like angels are evil and devils are perfect, but that is not the case. even though the devils had freedom and fun, they were violent and unpredictable. both angels and devils are needed to make something that could ever be close to perfect.
