Chapter 1

Riley's pov

It's five in the morning and I can't sleep I just keep thinking about this one thing that Molly told me. About the kid who died because of a forest that when you enter that part of the forest you immediately enter your worst nightmare.

whenever I think about it I feel a cold shiver go down my spine and I have so many questions about that weird spooky forest. Anyway thoughts aside and time to sleep it's too late to be thinking about this.

3 Hours later

fall asleep, fall asleep, fall asleep, fall asleep

I CAN'T FALL ASLEEP UUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what imma go downstairs and have a warm glass of milk maybe that will help me fall asleep. I'm a genius I murmured under my breath.

10 minutes later

ahhhhh finished the delicious glass of warm milk

my eyelids felt a little heavy after a while  and you know what I'm tired I think imma just go to sle--

Then I finally fall asleep after what seemed like 10,000000000 years

OHH SHUT UP YOU STUPID ALARM!!!!!!

ugh now I have to wake up I hardly even got any sleep. Why is my life like this?

Now its time for me to get ready and go to friggin! school

After school, Molly and I usually go to the mall and sometimes the boys like to tag along but today I did not have any energy in me to go to the mall so I just told them to go without me. when I got home I went and sat down on the couch whilst patting  Sydney (my dog he is a Cavoodle). I love his curly light brown fur, he is such a smart and cheeky dog that's why I love him so much.

flashback 

when I got home I saw my parents standing behind a huge box and they said 

"Put all your things down, come here and close your eyes"

"umm ok.." 

"what's in the box I said while putting my things down?"

"you will see just come here and close your eyes" 

"ok"

I stood in front of them and closed my eyes I'm excited but also nervous I wonder what it is.

"ok now on the count of 3 open your eyes ok"

"ok" 

"1, 2, 3!!!!"

"OMG NO WAY SSQQQQQUUUUUEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! ITS A DOG!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH NOW WAY OMG OMG OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGGGG!!!!!!!"

"hahaha we knew you would like it and you deserved it"

"OMG I've always wanted a dog"

"and he is so fluffy and small and cute.... is it a girl or a boy?"

"its a boy"

"awwww now all I need to do is name him.... that might take some time....."

End of flashback 

what the.... why did I just have a random flashback. You know what I must be tired I will just lie down in bed. Come on Sydney lets go and lie down. 

After a while I felt weird I felt as if I was being watched. I got up and looked around I looked towards my door and I saw a shadow move. what if its a ghost!... no it cant be...... it was probably just my imagination or it could be mum or dad. I picked up my phone and saw 20 missed called from molly, i started to panic what if it was important what if SHE DIED....... no no no u know imma just call her and see what up.

"hey what happened r u ok why did u call me soo many times"

"oh its ok its just that Jack went missing but we found him in the food court" 

"ooohhhhh hahaahahahahhahahahaahah thank god it wasn't very serious or anything but that kind of obviouse to find jack in the food court i mean where else would he be hahahahahahahaaha" 

" hahahahahhahha yeah true, hey i got to go my mums calling me"

"ok byeeeeeee see u in school tomorrow"

Oh thank god nothing bad happened otherwise idk what i would have done.

When i was going downstairs i heard voice not just my parents..
