A quiet night in heaven. A late teen named Joe was the only one still up. He was lying in his bed, texting on his phone, to keep up with his mates. The conversation was normal for the first few hours, but that all changed in seconds. A noice came from the kitchen. It sounded like a pot or pan being fun into. 'But, my parents are in bed.' He thought, swiftly snatching up his phone and texting his mates.
Joe: Dude! There's something down stairs!
Jack: It's just your mum. Don't worry.
Elen: Yeah Joe, it's just you parents down there.
Joe: Both of them are in bed!
Jack: Well, it's Rasmus then.
Joe: He's Not Over Here Till Tomorrow!
Joe: I hear Footsteps coming up the stairs!
Elen: Hide Dude!
Joe turned off his phone and flew up onto the ceiling and hopped onto a wooden beam that ran just under the ceiling. The footsteps stopped his door. Joe began to hyperventilate, so he covered his mouth with one hand. The footsteps continued down the hall, making Joe sigh in relief.
"Gotcha." Joe looked up and his mouth was covered and his arms and wings were held behind his back. Joe started to kick and panic, trying to call for his parents. A dark black and red portal appeared under them and whoever had him, dropped down into it.
It was pitch black until a floor came into view. The guy landed with a thud on the blood stained like floor, making a kid his age appear in the doorway. He was a devil. A devil with red horns and tail. Black wings and brown hair. Brown eyes and black jacket.
Joe struggled more and more before getting thrown into a wall. He fell onto the floor and a set of thorned bars slid closed. "Dad? Is that where you've been? Mum has been blowing up because you left!" The kid yelled at his... dad?
Joe looked up at the Person who had him. He looked almost identical to the kid, only bigger, and looked meaner. "Ugh. You're mother is always like that. Let me deal with her." The guy stormed out of the room, yelling something.
The kid walked towards Joe, who had scrambled to the back of the cell, back against the dark oak wall. The late teen seemed to sympathise with the young angle, eyes turning sad and worried, while his angered frown turned sad.
'Was he going to hurt me? He's tricking me!' Joe thought, pulling his legs towards his chest and covering himself with his wings.
"Cody! Dinner! Now!" The guy yelled from the other room. The teen looked up towards the direction of the other room, then back to Joe.
"I'll be back." He said softly, before walking away.
Joe just hugged his knees and began to pray his family would come save him.
