In the beginning Lilly Compass was having a hard life. She was always getting picked on by her ex boyfriend. Once he beat her up and then she got a big bruise under her eye. Lilly's life isn't perfect, the only safe place in her life is the silver lake.

Until one night it went to far, I was at a party and he was drinking. He got mad at me when I refused to drink and threatened to call the cops. He hit me square in the face.
