She had hit 13 and killed her brother and found out her boyfriend, who she stayed with until she died, had killed her mother. Ashley's dad had been an alcoholic for the past 10 years after that, and she's now 23 and out of the house. She wanted to visit him, but when she got there, he was drinking again. Tired of it, she lightly told him to go to AA meetings, just to help him stop. It made him furious to the point he picked her up and started strangling her with his bare hands.
