Rationing

A simple yellow card tells us what we can have:
Eat, wear and send.
Starving our rights and cooling our freedom,
Children cry from hypothermia and
Adults go hungry for weeks.
But why complain when there's a blockade
And there's literally nothing to eat?

Replace it with laughing and fun with the day
Letting evacuated children come and play
Away from the conflict that we're still in.
They think it's safe here but our small
Island will never win.

Feed them our food,
Give them our clothes.
As long as they're alright
We'll stay alive.
