How they met.

Wendy's wedding was this Sunday and even though she was against a bachelor party, Seulgi is planning one anyway. It wouldn't be too big but it would be the best, she guaranteed.

The cherry on top is the "cake" that they will deliver at the end of the party. Putting a half naked woman on a cake ready to be opened is indeed cliché, but that's Kang Seulgi.

She met Seungwan during her internship and since then they are inseparable. She will never get tired of remembering how that goddamn printer used to work by itself and ignore all Seulgi's commands while Wendy had the gift to tame that plague, constantly saving Seulgi's ass.

When Seulgi graduated and her parents kicked her out, Wendy was the one to welcome her in her tiny apartment with a hairless cat and lots of plants.

They lived together for less than a year. Although Seungwan insisted for Seulgi to stay, the cat was increasingly stressed so her clothes appeared more and more torn. Seulgi started working in two jobs in order to leave Wendy alone, but at the end of that same year, her old boss called her saying that she's missing there.

It's obvious that Wendy was behind this and Seulgi couldn't be more grateful for being friends with such a wonderful and caring person. After getting back to the company, now as an employee, the cat eyed woman had a new goal: find a lover for Wanda.

During the year that they lived together, Seulgi used to hear "because my lover will like" as explanation for almost every awkward thing that the owner of the house would do.

"Wendy, why are you putting the table if it's just me and the cat?"

"Because my lover will like"

"Wendy, why are you spraying perfume all over our room?"

"Because my lover will like"

"Wendy, why are you looking at me sleeping?"

"Because my lover will like"

Okay, the last one just didn't had an explanation. It was freaking awkward for Seulgi.

Of course Seulgi knew a lot of women, since she liked them and was "kind of pretty", but she would never present one of her ex-flings to her precious friend.

'Wendy deserves the best woman' she thought.

She tried looking on dating apps, but it didn't helped that she used her face there instead of Wendy's because 99% of the women were interested in her, not in her friend. Even if the description said 'I'm looking for someone to my friend', they would still come for her. So risk that.

Since searching online didn't work, she decided to look outside, in the real world. So Seulgi and Wendy had their "party animal" phase, we can say. And despite meeting new girls from time to time, she kept looking for someone special for her friend.

Until one morning Seulgi noticed how Wendy used to look at the girl who was preparing their cappuccinos. It struck her that she had never commented about the girl so she tried something.

"Wendy, what do you think of the brunette behind that workbench?" She pointed out. The girl widened her eyes, but soon recovered herself.

"She's nice. Why?" She looked indifferent.

'Sorry, Wendy, You asked for this' Seulgi thought.

"I'm interested in her"

It was fatal. The twenty-five-year-old woman in front of her changed her indifferent expression to an agonized one.

"Seulgi" she whinned "Why? She isn't even that nice. If you want, I can introduce you to a friend"

Seulgi had to bite the corner of her mouth to keep herself from laughing.

"She isn't? Look at her. I always wanted to date someone taller than me"

Wendy got her there and rolled her eyes.

"This is the biggest lie you could tell. I know you don't have a type, but most of the girls you get involved with are smaller than you"

Seulgi sighed.

"Okay, maybe you're right"

They were silent watching the girl work with mastery. Wendy shyly peeking over her shoulder while Seulgi stared blatantly. Until Wendy speak again.

"I meant it, about having a friend. I think it's time for you to get a girlfriend, Kang Seulgi"

"Is she smaller than me?" Seulgi asked mockingly.

"Four inches. She teaches in a school 5 blocks from here, if you want to pass there we can-"

"Focus, Wendy. Why don't you talk to the girl?" Seulgi interrupted.

She took advantage of the fact that Wendy was sitting with her back facing the girl.

"By the way, she's looking over here"

Wendy quickly turned and Seulgi waved at the girl, who was really staring at them, pointed Wendy then raise both thumbs while her friend was still not looking.

"You embarrassed me again, didn't you?" the small one asked as soon as she saw the girl laugh and turn her back to where they were.

"Never, my dear Wanda" suddenly the girl turned again and raised her thumbs back. Bingo!

In the next day, Seulgi offered to order for both of them. Wendy never regretted it so much as that day when the cute girl shouted

"Wanda Mary May? Miss Wanda Mary May? Wanda Mary May..?"

And she had to go present herself as Wanda Mary May.

For a whole week, Seulgi insisted in this approach. The apex was when the girl refused to call Seungwan and just signaled her to go to the counter. In the white cup was written "HandSon Wendy, Go Out With Me?"

Both girls were silent not knowing what to do. Wendy was the first to talk.

"I'm so sorry for my friend. It will be completely understandable if you want us to stop coming here." Wendy said, unable to look at the girl after all.

"It's all right. Even though she sucks at giving you nicknames, the rest of the sentence was wrote by me"

Before Wendy open her mouth, someone called the girl behind the counter.

After that, Wendy finally asked the girl out and Seulgi was able to fulfill her mission. What she didn't expect was to have both of them in her apartment every weekend, not that she was complaining, far from it! Waking up to muffins and her coffee already made was the best thing in the world. As soon as they got in a relationship, Wendy and her now girlfriend gave Seulgi a special coffee brewer.

Now that they will get married, she needs to return the present by giving Wendy the best bachelor party ever. Which means, Seulgi needs a stripper as soon as possible!
