Our Love - Tododeku (Camping trip)

Chapter 3

Midoriya's POV

We finally started the long road trip to the camp! I'm so excited, but not so excited about the long car ride. But ecstatic none the less. After about 10 minutes of pure silence, I started to get bored. I immediately thought of music, I spoke up. "Hey guys, are you ok if I put on some music?" I said as I looked to Todoroki, who was sitting next to me, then looked to Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Iida in the backseat.

Uraraka beamed "That would be amazing!" She exclaimed.

"I wouldn't mind that either, kero~" Tsuyu said as she put a finger up to her cheek and stuck out her tongue.

Iida adjusted his glasses. "I'd like that too, but no songs that swear or..." Iida went on saying what songs were bad

I've known Iida for a while now, and I knew he would go on about this. It's just what he does best, but I know exactly how to stop it. I cut him off, "Iida, I'll be sure to play clean and safe songs." I reassured him. I saw him nod in approval, I turn back around to see how to hook up my phone to the radio. Seeing as there were no cords, I just assumed it was Bluetooth. And I was right, my phone connected to the car radio. I opened up Spotify, and went to my playlist of songs that I listen to often. I hit shuffle as the songs were selected randomly.

We danced, and sang along to the songs for about half an hour, even Todoroki joined in! Something was weird though, whenever I looked over to Todoroki smiling, I got this weird feeling in my stomach. It felt like butterflies were flying around in there, but it wasn't a bad feeling. I didn't think to much about it though, I was probably just shocked or nervous.

I suddenly felt this wave of drowsiness, and I could barely keep my eyes open. So I just decided to lay my head down on my arms, not caring about anything else. I think Todoroki saw me, because I heard the music die down. I closed my eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.

Todoroki POV

So far this car trip has gone really well, and I'm having a lot of fun. I know that sounds shocking, but yes I can have fun. I've been singing and dancing along with everybody else, I couldn't help it the songs were catchy. Speaking of songs, Midoriya and I unintentionally have the same music tastes. But I'm not going to tell him that because... well you know my ego and shit.

I look over to my right to see Midoriya half asleep, I softly smile and turn the music down.

"Hey what gives!" Uraraka says as she pouts, Tsuyu giggles at this.

"Midoriya is tired, let him sleep."  I simply respond.

Uraraka looks over to see Midoriya laying down, pretty much dead asleep. "Ohh ok! I think I'll take a nap myself." She then pulls out a pillow out of nowhere... you know just Uraraka doing what Uraraka does best.

Nobody questions it as the car falls silent, with the calm, peaceful music floating in the backround.

Nobody's POV

2 hours later

Midoriya woke up after a long, needed nap. He got a good look at his surroundings, and glanced to his left to see the heterochromatic boy... and holy shit did he look ready to pass out at any second. Midoriya decided it was time to switch drivers. "Hey Todoroki?" He said in a soft voice, though it still made Todoroki jump in surprise.

"Jesus Christ Izu, you scared me!" He took a deep breath to calm down. 

Midoriya was about to apologize, when he processed what Todoroki had said. "D-did you just call me Izu?" He blushed a light shade of pink and wrapped his arms around his face, hoping Todoroki wouldn't see.

Todoroki on the other hand was freaking out. "I'm so sorry! It just slipped out of my mouth without thinking!"

"It's ok Todoroki, no need to overreact." Midoriya reassured him. An awkward silence filled in between the both of them. Midoriya put his arms back in his lap and looked out the window, he sighed. "How much longer until we get there?" He was starting to get sick of being in the car, you could say he was a little grumpy.

"About 10 more minutes." Todoroki said, he could tell that Midoriya wasn't a big car fan seeing as he sighed with relief. It fell silent again until they reached the camp. Todoroki turned left to the entrance of the camp. There was a speed bump, which caused the others to start waking up. 

"Huh wha- are we there yet?" Uraraka spoke, a little startled from the bump. 

"Yes we are Uraraka-san!" Midoriya said with a bright smile on his face, which made Uraraka blush a light shade of pink. Tsuyu and Iida woke up soon after, and were told that they have arrived. Todoroki pulled up to the camp site and saw that one group was already there... the Bakusquad. This will get interesting

Author's Note

I finally got Chapter 3 done! Wooooooooo! It's been awhile, but school has been kicking my ass. I just can't seem to take a break, I was sick today so I got to work on this. But it's going to be hell when I go back.

I know it's shorter, but I just had to get something published. I'll start working on Chapter 4 as soon as possible, and it'll hopefully be longer. Anyway, I hope you like the chapter!
