Sorry for this chapter being short, it's meant to start the story off.
"The last thing I remember?" you asked.
"My friends sent me on this quest thing, to collect all the pages –" you paused with realisation.
"Yes, Y/N?" the therapist said to you.
You stopped for a while, before responding to her.
"Static." You said. "I have to go." You ran out of the room and into your car.
On the way back to the forest, you looked at all the animals in the forest.
"Dejavú" you said, while getting dizzier. You started to hear static.
You looked back at the animals, and you saw what they really were.
A dog, with a wide smile. People wearing masks, and the thing creating the static.
It was him. Your body started to have a mind for itself. It stopped the car.
You felt like this had already happened.
A voice appeared in your head, like a radio station with interference.
"Join us." It said. "We won't leave you alone until you join us."
And then, blank.
