(Third person POV)

It was the next morning. Will was asleep on the couch and Y/n was asleep on the chair next to it. It was about 4am and everything was quiet until...
*CRASH!* a loud sound was heard from the other side of the room that startled Y/n up. She looked around and noticed that a bookshelf had fallen near the stairwell. She got up to check on Will, but he was out cold. So, she went to pick up the bookshelf as quietly as possible. But when she finally picked it up and put most of the books back, another loud crash was heard in another part of the house. It sounded like it came from under Y/n.

(Y/n POV)

I had just put the books back when I heard a thud coming from the basement. 'Huh, that's weird. What was that? No one else is in the house except for me, Will and- oh no.' I'd decided to go check on my little hostages upstairs. As I ran upstairs quietly, something felt off. Like something was..not missing but like.. out of place. I went to unlock the door to the room the twins were in but, it was already unlocked. A quick look around the room and if realized they were nowhere to be found. I was immediately terrified and ran back downstairs to check on Will, only to discover he wasn't there either. I called his name a few times as I searched the house but he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Then it dawned on me. 'They're in the basement again, aren't they?' With that, I got my phone and went to that dreaded door. 'They have Will! Oh, if they lay another well-manicured finger on him...' I thought as I silently went down the stairs. I went only two steps when I'd heard a sound. An all too familiar sound. 'He's crying.' Then I heard another sound. Another familiar sound that shook me to my core. 'They're laughing.' Then I heard Mason speak. "Did you have a nice break, William? I'm sure it was nice to have an undeserved rest." He said in a cold voice. "That girl really helped you out, didn't she? That arrogant little twit. Once she wakes up, she won't be here. And for your sake, I'll make sure she remembers how pathetic you are." Will stutters out. "P-please, d-d-don't hurt h-her." It broke my heart and burned the pieces to here all this. I was stuck at the top of the stairs because if I moved, they'd here me. Mabel giggles like an evil clown. "Why would we? Sure, it would be a nice revenge on her for beating us like she owned us. Trust me, Willy. We won't hurt her. Why would you care if we do anyway? She doesn't care about you, and you don't care about her." I almost ran down and slit her throat right there. "Now, we're going to dispose of that Y/n up there. You, worthless demon, are going to stay here." She says. I then here a sound of chains clicking. "That girl took our jewels, so we'll need those back as well." Mason said. That made me remember I had their headband and tie thing in my f/c jacket pocket. I heard them coming to the stairs. So I turned on my torch on its highest setting to blind them. "Agh!" Mason cried out. Mabel shielded her eyes and looked at me. "Look who it is! Just the lady we wanted to see." I then kicked Mason down the stairs, making Mabel fall as well. "You aren't so tough without your magic, are you?" I said walking down the stairs. Mason got up and grabbed my wrists, pinning them to the wall. "Now, you're really going to get it." I then decided to distract him a little. "Listen hun, sorry, but you're not my type." His eyes widened and his cheeks went pink. I took this opportunity to get out of his grasp and get to the other side of the room. I then pulled out Mason's tie. "Hey! Don't get any closer, unless you wanna say goodbye to the bling." I screamed with the gem aimed at the floor as if I'd smash it to pieces. Mason had a look of terror on his face for one second, then, he looked to the witch. "Hmm.. dear sister?" He asked as they exchanged an all too familiar devious look. "Yes, dear brother?" Mason started walking so I flinched. "It would seem that this girl has grown to pity our living power source..." Mabel then looked past me look at a corner behind me. "I agree." Then, out of the corner of my eye, I see blue. A blue ball. I look for a second, then I get so pained by what I see I have to look back at them. Then, Mason opens his disgusting mouth again. "Well, since she likes him so much, how about we trade? You give our magic items back, and in return, we will not hurt our precious demon." I flinch and think about it. 'if I give him the gems, they'll still have power. But, if I don't, Will won't be safe. Then, an idea pops into my head. 'They think I don't care, I'll show them I care.' then I suddenly say. "Oh, hi Mister Gleeful!" Which causes the twins to look behind them and give me time to put on the the headband and the tie. I feel the magic surge through my body so much I'm pretty sure my eyes turned blue. By the time the twins turned back around, they were, for lack of cooler terms, SHOOK. I smiled at them as Mason tried backing away. I then lifted him in the air. "You will let m3 and Will leave. You will never try to follow us or contact us. For if you do, there will be the direst of consequences." He was suffocating but I didn't let him go until he nodded. Mabel was too shocked to speak. When I dropped her brother, I knocked them both unconscious with no memory of me. Only of Will, and how they were terrible to him until he disappeared. I then took off the jewels at top speed and ran over to what I thought I would never see again.
Will crying.
