Chapter 2

Previously: It was another note....

It was another note. I opened it and it had a picture of a tombstone and a stick figure with it's over its eyes, resembling me. It said "You at recess". I looked from where it came from, there was this girl and she was snickering. 

I crumbled up the paper and threw it in front of me. Then the announcements came on. They told us to stand for our Pledge Allegiance. The whole class stood up except for one guy.

The teacher said,"Henry on your feet!" I turned back around and finished the Pledge.  I sat back down and then Henry said,"You hear that, Liberty and Justice for all.........that's bullshit!" The teacher happily walked to her desked and pressed this Goldish little button.

It made a doorbell kind of sound and then these two men walked in and one of them said,"Grab the boy!" Then the other one said,"Get this one!" They took him by the arm and dragged him out of the room while Henry was screaming,"I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!"

I was kind of taken back by this. I sat there frozen for a sec before turning back and continuing my work. I didn't know what just happened. I tried to push it out of my thoughts and just try to focus on my work.

A few minutes later, the teacher wrote "Nap time" on the board. So they brought out the tiny mattresses and we got in the bed. I laid down and closed my eyes. I almost instantly fell asleep. I had a very terrible dream about THAT girl. That girl Kelly. In the dream, we were outside and she saw me talking with someone and then she got jealous and snapped on me.

I was awoken out of that dream by Angelita shaking means telling me we are going outside. I got up and followed her outside.

We walked into the gate and we walked to this little area and we sat down. A guy came and sat with us and he was pretty cute, I have to admit.

We kept talking for a while and we got really close and then I looked over at Angelita. She looked worried. I said, "Hey, is everything ok?" Then her eyes went wide and she yelled, "WATCH OUT!" I was confused and I looked behind me and BAM! I got slapped and I fell backwards.

I grabbed my face where it got slapped and I looked up to see her. Kelly! I called for Angelita to help but she was getting held back by her little minions.

I winced in pain and she kept doing it over and over again. Then something happened that I never thought would happen. I felt something take over my body. I was lifted of the ground along with Kelly. I felt the braids in my hair being lifted up.

She freaked out and said,"Put me down you freak!" I couldnt respond because I didnt even know what was going on. My braids suddenly found their way to her neck, wrapping themselves around it.

I tried to stop but I couldnt. She kept gasping for air but all that I tried, I couldnt stop. Then all of the sudden, it dropped her to the ground and let me down safely. Once I got to the ground I was taken back. I fell down because it felt like some force had just left my body.

It was so powerful. Then I looked up in confusion of what just happened. Everyone was staring at me. I couldnt take everyone staring at me so I got up and ran out of the playground.

I got stopped by a teacher halfway to the school. She said,"Hey, no running!" I didnt listen and kept running. I went to the bathroom and cried because I still had no idea what happened.

A few minutes later, Angelita came in and called out for me. I said in a sad voice,"Here." She said,"Why are you crying and btw what happened out there?" I shrugged and said,"I dont know what happened, that's why I'm crying." "Well, can you come out of the stall please?"

I walked out and she pouted her lip. I started to cry even more. Was I cursed? She pulled me into a hug and said,"Everything is fine. We'll figure it out, trust me!" I said, while still crying, "Dont you see, no its not. That was some kind of possession!" She chuckled and pulled away.

She grabbed my face and wiped away my tears. She said in a reassuring voice,"We'll figure it out!" I sniffled and nodded. She took my hand in her's and we walked out.

We opened the door and saw one of Kelly's little minions. She said,"Kelly said that she wants to have a talk with you." I looked over at Angelita waiting for her to respond because if I respond I'll say something stupid and I'll get my ass beat.

She looked at her minion and said,"Um, how about no and leave us the fuck alone kiddo." She yanked my hand and I followed her footsteps.

Sorry how short this one was but I'm making another one probably tonight and btw this is not fully the same as the movie just some references from the movie. :) Have a great day!
