the night had stilled
he called to her
She couldn't hear him
Her love
They were not allowed together because of her betrothment
She could tell he wanted her and she him
They were both to meet in the woods
Two hours time
He had begun to run because he couldn't wait to be with her
She stood waiting to hear him call her name
This would tell her to run
She had started to run
knowing nothing of what waited her
Her beloved ran into her betrothed
He had dead in her sights
She had been mere meters away to him
She ran to her betrothed and taken his blade
"If I am not to be the the one who has my heart I shall not live at all"
Sliting her throat to meet her beloved in the after life
Their spirit bound together forever in the eternal smoke of her betrothed forever.
