Nandini's POV
I closed my eyes as soon as cabir bhai left with navya bhabhi.am happy at least cabir bhai is sensible.
This manik malhotra raised hand on me ,I should get angry on him but instead am hurt, why it is because he is my husband or I excepted more from him,he is also part of this family why he will different.
But my little heart is paining.why
Am getting cold , why I came outside.
Yes ok I except am angry on manik but why I have to sleep in this cold climate no I will go inside & sleep on bed ,I will throw manik out.

Nandu went inside room & saw manik is sleeping peacefully.

N:-idiot kahika ,here he is sleeping peacefully.

Nandu slept on her side & closed her eyes but can't sleeping, she was excepting manik to come to her & ask forgiveness but no here he was sleeping like pig.
Tears started coming from her eyes.
She was about to wipe it but ,a pair of lips wipe it, she closed her eyes tightly feeling manik lips on her cheeks.
Manik slowly put his hand on waist.
Nandini pressed it tightly as expressing anger but manik yelled loudly in pain.
Nandini sat up with jerk & took his hand & saw his hand has burnt marks.tears welled up in her eyes.

N:-manik ji what happened to your hand.

M:-kuch nahi hai muskan.

Was about to pull his hand but nandu hold it tightly.

N:-mere kasam now tell me truth.

Manik closed his eyes tightly.

M:-wo morning after slapping I regretted it at that moment only.
You know my family is my everything.
I didn't wanted anyone to disrespect them, I know they are wrong but I can't raise my voice because I don't want to loose them, am afraid what if my family will go away from me if I  opposed them,that's why am silent seeing all this.
Morning am not intended to slap you.
As you are back answering dadi,
Dadu was looking at you angrily.
Am sacred that what if they throw you out of this house, I can't loose you muskan & I can't loose my family also.
I want both of you in my life.
So I slapped you because I wanted to show them I can control you, they no need to worry about it, I wanted to plaster fake angry on you in front of them.but I didn't knew you will be hurt this much, am really sorry.
After slapping  i went to office ,
I wanted to hurt myself for hurting you so I poured hot coffee on my hand from which hand I slapped you.

Nandini looked at him lovingly.
She can't understand this dipolar creature.he is like one person inside room,outside another person.
But one thing she can see in his eyes
That is love for her.

N:-idiot,stupid.

M:-muskan am your husband yar give some respect.

Nandini slapped him.manik looked shocked, she started hitting him.
He just looked at her with smile.

N:-am hitting you ,not telling any funny joke why are you smiling idiot.

Manik pulled in hug,nandini struggled to come out from hug but his hold was tight. Nandini stopped her struggle & hugged him tightly & started crying loudly.
Manik just consoled her saying sweet words. They broke hug.
Manik cupped her cheek & asked.

M:-is it paining baby.

Nandini nodded

M:-wait I will give medicine.

He started giving kisses on her cheek.
Nandini just lost in his touch.
But suddenly remembered about his injured hand.

N:-manik ji wait I will bring butter,
You will feel better if I applied it on your hand.

Nandu ran outside without listening to him.she took butter from refrigerator was about to go but she remembered manik didn't had food.
So she arrange a plate full of food & took with her.
She placed plate on side table & took manik's hand & started to apply butter with tears flowing.
Manik was looking at her without blinking, he was scolding himself how can he slap his darling wife.

N:-manik ji wait I will feed you, you didn't ate food, did you had anything from manik ji.(looking at him suspiciously).

Manik started looking here & there without meeting her eyes.

N:-how can work without having food manik ji, you will fall sick.

M:-you also didn't had food muskan,
How can you work,you will also fall sick,is your tooth is really paining.

N:-no manik ji I lied to you, actually I didn't had heart to eat food ,now leave that let's have food.

Nandu started feeding manik ,manik also asked her to eat.
Both completed food.Nandu went downstairs with empty plate.
Manik also joined her.
She saw unwashed dishes & started to wash them.

M:-baby leave them you can do it morning.

N:manik ji ,morning work will be more.

Manik sighed & back hugged her.

M:-by marrying me see how much you have to suffer, am a loser who has so much money to buy entire world for his wife, but I can't even hire a maid to do all this.
(Feeling sad).

Nandu turned to him & kissed him on cheek.

N:-oey my husband is not looser,he has beautiful heart which is priceless.
No one can buy it & am sole owner of it.

Manik just looked at her with love.
Manik started helping her to wash dishes.
