My Fated Pair

Chapter 1

Hi, This is my first time ever writing fan fiction, however, I was inspired by many other stories and decided to have a go at making my own. English is not my first language, so I hope you don't mind me messing up some words, phrases, and other stuff (sorry, I suck at grammar). I'm a huge fan of Hazbin Hotel and no, I don't own Hazbin, it's a story that belongs to Vivziepop (If you enjoy Hazbin Hotel make sure to follow her ). I've become a Chalastor shipper, don't get me wrong, I love other ships such as Chaggie, but I just love this ship so, please don't hate me. Without further ado, let's begin the story...

(Prior to the story, Charlie changed to her demon form and caused an accident involving her "ex" boyfriend after she heard about his intentions. Just like all the other candidates, they only dated Charlie for the "Title of King". When she changed back, she saw "ex" flying across Pentagram City. Upset, Charlie ran out the door. Lucifer witnessed the scene and decided to follow her.)

Charlie ran right past the hall straight into her room all curled up into a ball, Razzel and Dazzle followed behind her trying their best to comfort her. Charlie started sobbing. A few minutes later a soft knock was heard from outside.

"Charlotte ... may I come in." Slowly the door opened to reveal a pale demon.

With a hesitant voice, "Dad..."

Lucifer walked towards Charlie and sat down next to her. "Charlotte, tell me what's wrong," said Lucifer. Charlie didn't talk for a while hoping that her father would leave, but her father stayed right next to her, then finally... 

"Dad..., everyone I meet just wants to marry me because I'm the princess. Will there ever be someone who will love me for who I am".

This made Charlie curl up, even more, trying not to make any eye contact with her father.

"Charlotte dear, this is hell, everyone who comes down here are awful sinners with no respect". He looked over at his daughter and let a huge sigh. "If you'd like, why don't you go outside and cool off some steam with those friends of yours."

"Really? you usually never let me out"

"Charlotte, your not a child anymore so, your mother and I have decided that you should also go out from time to time with your friends. This must be causing you a lot of stress and we can't just keep you confined. After all, what you did back there was pretty impressive".

"Agghhhhh, DAD...Please don't remind me," Charlie said all flustered

Lucifer chuckled

"Now let's stop this nonsense and cheer up shall we," said Lucifer. 

Charlie wiped her tears and slowly started getting up. Before Lucifer was about to leave, he turned around looking at Charlie with a serious face, 

"Charlotte, this doesn't mean we've stopped looking for a suitable partner". Charlotte's face turned when she heard her father's marriage proposal. "I have someone that I want to introduce to you. He is an old friend of mine and is nothing like the other demons, however, I want you to be careful around him. He can be.... unpredictable. I want you to meet him tomorrow at 3 pm in the castle garden". 

"Yes, I understand," said Charlie trying to build a small smile. When Lucifer left, Charlie let out a huge sigh and looked right at her phone. She stared at it for a long time, RING~~~, Charlie wheezed in surprise and looked at the phone, it was Vaggie and Angel Dust.

Angel Dust: "Hi there sugar, there's a carnival nearby care to join?"

Vaggie: "Hi Hon, we know you must be busy but this carnival is just the talk of the town and we wanted to go with you. Can you come today?"

Charlie believed she deserved a break and with her parent's permission...

Charlie: "Sure", Charlie said in excitement, "I'll see you guys in a bit." 

A few hours later...

Vaggie and Angel Dust met Charlie at the entrance of the carnival. Charlie decided not to say anything about her current situation(especially to Vaggie, she was worried that Vaggie might not take things lightly). The 3 of them played around for hours, going on rides, eating delicious foods, and playing games. 

Charlie was grateful for the fact she had such great friends to hang out this. This helped her relieve her stress from all the things that happened today.

It was getting late, Charlie decided it was time and decided to leave. They stopped by a bar after Angel Dust found himself a new "toy" so, Vaggie went to chase Angel Dust. Charlie was left alone so she decided to go out and chill for the time being.

Suddenly.... she heard small sounds of static coming from behind. Curious, Charlie decided to follow the sound which eventually led her to the back of a dark alley. When she walked closer towards the sound she saw a back shadow approaching her.

"W-Who's there", Charlie said in an agitated voice 

"Well well, who do we have here, if it isn't the princess of hell herself. What brought you to such a place".

Charlie took a step back, then she took a deep breath and introduced herself. 

All Charlie could do was stay still, there wasn't any light so she didn't have a clue to who this person could be.

"M-May I ask wh", "CHARLIEEEE". A loud voice was heard from the back. Charlie looked behind and saw Vaggie and Angel Dust calling for her.

"It seems like our time is up. Have a nice evening, princess".

In a blink of an eye, the shadow disappeared, Charlie was left stunned but gained her senses back after hearing her friends call for her and went back.
