Chapter 7.0

Megune's P.OV

School had just ended 5 minutes ago. The others already went ahead because they have other stuff to do.

Either they have chores to do, make videos or doing their homework.

I, on the other hand, am just opening my locker and grabbing my things when Ken came in.

"Hey, Megune. Can we meet by the school entrance after you're done?" I nodded at him as he walk away.

Moments later, I went to where Ken told me to meet and saw him there.

Once he saw me, he grabbed my wrist and says, "Let's head to the cafe together!"

Before I could ask, Ken started dragging me.

"We''re here!" Ken says while entering inside.

"Are the others coming?"

"Nope, but don't think this is a date, alright? I'll explain once we order." I nodded at him.

So ironically, Ken had ordered a cinnamon toast with coffee while I got was a baguette and a cup of hot chocolate.

"So, here's the catch.." He started to say when we sat down.

"Tyler told me that you were curious about what had just happen awhile ago during lunch, am I right?"

"Yeah, what is up with that?"

"Well, believe it or not, he and I used to be best friends." My eyes widened in shock at the information.

"Shocking, am I right?" He chuckled half heartedly.

"He and I were inseparable since childhood. Growing up together, we both decided to make YouTube account. We did recordings together and well, things started changing.."

Flashback

Ken's P.O.V

"Sky, guess what?!" I exclaimed while barging in his room.

"What? What is it?!" He ask while smiling brightly at me.

"I finally reach 1 million subscribers ! Isn't that great?!"

Sky's smile turn into frown. Before I could even ask what's wrong, he says "Well, congratulations. Want a reward or something?" He ask while huffing at me.

"Hey, what's wrong? I thought you'd be happy for me."

"I am, Ken, I really am. It's just that, I'm still in 890,000 subscribers, I can't believe you got 1 million already."

I put my hand on his shoulders while giving him a reassuring smile.

"Hey, you'll reach that goal too. Give some time, alright?" He looks at me with a smile. It looks kinds fake though..

"I hope so.. But, can we promise each other something?" Sky ask.

"What is it?"

"If we.. Ever got into a fight each other, let's separate to one another to avoid causing a scene, alright?"

I squinted my eyes in confusion. "Sure..But why are you-"

"Oh look at the time, we better head to school now." Before I could ask, he went ahead already. Sighing, I grabbed my bag and follow him.

End Of Flashback

Megune's P.O.V

"Ever since that day, Sky was acting strange. For example, he would try to join me in making videos."

"What happen then?"

He sigh. "We got in a huge fight."

Flashback

Ken's P.O.V

"Sky!" I didn't gave him a chance to turn around when I punch him in the face. We we're alone in the hallway, and that's a good thing.

"What the hell, Ken?! Why did you do that to your bestfriend?!" He ask while wiping his blood in the nose.

I scoff. "Best friend? Not anymore, you backstabber!"

I grab his collar and push him against the locker. "Why the hell did you restart my YouTube account?!" His eyes widened in shock.

"How did you know that I did that?!"

He.. Admitted it? My heart hurts hearing that.

"Why, Sky?! I didn't do anything to you!"

He push me off from him. "You wanna know the reason? Fine! Because you have gain more money than I do!"

He only cares about money?!

"What the fuck, Sky! You changed ever since we started YouTube together! What happen to our friendship together?! Isn't that more important than money?!"

He stares at me with hatred. "You know what? I don't care anymore! Remember that promise, Ken. Leave me alone for now on!" I was about to stop him when he ran away.

End Of Flashback

Megune's P.O.V

"...And that's why we hate each other ever since."

Ken finished his story while sighing. I stare him with wide eyes.

"It's just like in the Mafia.." I muttered to myself.

"What?" Ken asked me while tilting his head at me.

"N-nothing!" I look at my watch.

"Oh look, it's getting late. We should go home now."

"Alrighty." Ken agreed while smiling at me.

We both wave goodbye ate each other before going home separately.
