:Ellana:

"I was thinking..."

"No."

"But, I didn't even say it, yet. I just want to tell you my idea."

"No. Don't make that face."

"I swear it's a good idea this time!"

"Why do I not believe you?" I ask, shifting my position.

"Because... I don't know, actually."

"Yeah, right," I scoff.

"Please, just come outside," Jack pleads.

"No. Make me."

"Prinzessin, we both know I can make you. Don't make me." (Princess.)

"I believe I said 'Make me', not 'Don't make me'. It makes you sound pussy, you know."

His brows shoot up, and he walks right up to me.

"'Kay, man, you don't have to get all up in my face, thanks, though. Some girls might dig that, but I like my bubble. Please don't pop it, 'kay, Sir?"

His breath fans my face, but I don't really care. I mean, he is my mate, so anything of him touching me, makes my skin dance.

"You think I'm a pussy?"

"Well, I mean, yeah." Do I? No. Is this sort of funny..? Yeah.

"One day, Ellana, I'm going to prove to you I'm not, then."

I push him away and scoff. "As if. What could you do?"

He shoots me a wicked grin. "Wanna find out now?"

"No, no I don't."

I do. I do. I do. I do.

Aubrey, shut the hell up. Nobody asked for your opinion.

He winks. "Let's go, then."

I roll my eyes, and take his hand that is held out for me. "I really picture you as the romantic type, now. When we first met, it was mostly bitch."

He nods. "Seems accurate." He opens the door, leading me through, then closes it.

He jogs down the stairs, me in tow, and continues his fast pace when we reach the grass.

"Jack, slow down!" I look at my feet. "I'm tripping over myself!"

I slam into a wall, that just so happens to be my mate.

I look up to him pointing at the roof.

I scrunch up my face in the morning sun. I'll play along with his game. So, I follow the imaginary line, and-

"Why the fuck is a car on your roof?!"

"Um, yeah. In this situation, you're not allowed to ask that."

"Jack! How'd you even get it up there?! There's like, forty feet to throw that!"

"Forty-five plus the roof, actually."

"That's not the point! Do you know how pissed I am at you right now? That was the best car!"

"It's a Ford, what do you mean?"

I gape at him. How dare he."Yeah, a Ford Mustang!"

Atticus runs out. "Everything good, guys?"

Jack yells 'No', as I yell the opposite. Again. Again.

"No, everything isn't!" I yell.

Jack steps in front of me, blocking my view. "Yes, everything is perfect. How can I help you, Atticus?"

I try to step out from behind him, but he reaches for my arms.

Haha, he missed- oh. Nevermind. Now, he's got me. Damn.

"No, I was just-"

"He threw the car on the roof!" I scream.

Jack stares at me.

"What one?!" Atticus joins in being loud at this point.

I keep attempting to tell Atti, even though Jack is protesting and hugging me, so I can't get away.

"I swear to fuck, if you tell him, I will force you into a make out session some time in front of everybody," Jack whispers in my ear.

"Oh, okay." I relax my body.

"We're good."

"Good?"

"Yeah," I shrug.

As soon as he lets go, I run to Atticus. "He threw the Mustang on the roof!" This is way to important to not tell anybody.

Jack growls and grabs me, no problem. "Look what you've started," he hisses in my ear.

I ignore the tingles and instead, focus on Atti.

Hi mouth is agape. He whimpers a little. "Th-the Mustang?"

"Oh, get over it, man," Jack says defensively. "I'll buy another one-"

"He's a monster," I say.

Atti looks at me. "No doubt about that. The Mustang, of all vehicles."

"I know, right?"

"I loved that car."

"Me, too!"

"It was the best one."

"For sure."

"Guys, shut up, I'll buy whatever car you want, just be quiet," Jack says. "My God. Just shut the hell up. It was only a fucking Ford."

Atti and I gasp. Only.
