"AHHHH!! MOMMY!! HELP ME," 4-year-old Kara screamed. There was a spider the size as her so close. Too close in fact. She could see all the hairs on it's body and the venom on it's one foot fangs, ready to drip onto the floor. She was scared.
"KARA," her mother screamed. "HID IN THE CABINET AND DON'T COME OUT UNLESS SOMEONE GETS YOU!!"
So she hid in the cabinet, but saw everything. She saw the spider kill her parents. Even after it left, she still didn't get out. She only left to use the bathroom and that was it. No food. No water. Just the bathroom. Until 5 days later. 5 days later, a group of people came into her house. There were 2 parents, and 3 kids.
"Oh my," the mother gasped. "It's the Hearthstone Family! Where is their daughter?!? Oh Charley, where is Kara?" She looked like she was about to cry.
"Calm down, Sara," Charley put an arm around his wife. "You can come on out Kara. The spiders are gone for now." Kara didn't move. What did her mother say... oh yes. Not to move unless someone told her to. "Come on Kara," He said calmly. "It's going to be OK. You can come on out now."
Slowly and shyly, she opened the cabinet. She put one foot down, but picked it back up again because the floor was cold. Then she finally got out.
"AHHHH," she screamed. The spider was back! It bit the youngest boy and tried to bite her, but the oldest boy, who was 12 years of age, picked her and the other boy up and ran with Sara behind. Kara was sobbing. "NOOO! Me wanna help! ME WANNA HELP!"
They were finally outside, but didn't stop until they got to a cave. She was still crying and demanding that she wanted to help. "No you don't, Kara," the 12-year-old boy said softly. He wraped her in a hug and soothed her to sleep.
But that was 12 years ago. Now she's 16 and a fighter. She will do anything to get revenge on the spider who killed her family, but for now, she has a new one to take care of.
