I've been sitting here listening to this upitty ass nigga talk for the past hour and a half. When i tell you I'm reaching my limit. Usually these things go smooth but booboo the clown over here been making slick remarks toward me throughout the whole meeting. Tom I think his name was is supposed to be explaining the set up for this club I'm gonna be performing at Friday night. Not his club but his bosses but it's fine, I ain't no snitch bitch. I can handle a few smart remarks from this goofy ass. Professionalism or respect I believe it's called? Unfortunately, lil mans over here clearly wasn't raised with the same beliefs. Not surprised though, I've met so many Tommy boys like himself I lost count. Weather they are blatantly racist or commenting on my sexuality, or even my look it never fails. But I know my place I know where me and mines are going and that's no where but up. Ion have time to be worrying bout these lames. Cause' the second you give a fiend attention, they feed off of it like it's their life line.

By the time the meeting is over we're all sitting on the edge of our seats a little annoyed and ready to get out of here. We hadn't ate anything all day and this boy up in here taking his sweet time explaining things over and over again like we stupid or sum. But like I said, I'm not gon' let lil mans press my buttons.

When we all stand up to leave everyone shakes his hand as they walk out of the conference room. I on the other hand decide to be a little petty. Being the last one to walk out I shake his hand firmly staring him dead in his eyes. I can tell he was surprised considering I hadn't said anything the whole meeting as he made his sly lil remarks. "Have a good day Mr. Timothy Sir" I said and walk away.

"It's Tom..." I could hear him whisper as we walked down the hallway. I didn't bother acknowledging him though instead I pull my phone out of my pocket. I text my lil sis Kodie telling her to meet us at our favorite spot Darnells Barbecue and Grill.

...

"Nah but y'all seent how pale he got when MA shook his hand...akekekeke" my homie Drew cackled.

"Nah I was just messing with lil ol Tommy Boy though... just making him second guess his lil remarks" I smirk taking another bite of my coleslaw.

"an you ain't knock lil clown out Tor?" Kodie asks laughing.

"Nah he was bugging, and I wasn't tryna catch a case, you know how these upitty lil boys be like throwing lawyers at niggas like its money on a stripper..." I replay.

"You got so much patience it's scary sometimes" She says cutting her eyes at me.

"You already know how that would go if I up and let everyone have these hands lil girl" I say making my eyes go wide like a insane person.

"Mhmmm..." is all she reply's smirking.

Yeah... she's my blood for sure I think to myself as I finish my meal. Everyone just chilling and enjoying conversation in good ol Darnells. I glance around the room taking in the laidback atmosphere. People enjoying real conversation and comfort food like we at the cookout. As I scan the room I lock eyes with a group of young shawtys sitting at a booth in the corner. Their eyes go wide not expecting me to catch them creepin. But ion take no offense to it seeing as I get recognized a lot being a rapper and all. I chuckle sending them a wink which causes them to squeal. My young fans are so goofy I swear, but I love them. They remind me a lot of how Kodie used to look at me when I was starting to get recognized in the Rap scene. She still looks at me like that every now and then but more like shes proud. What she don't know is that I wouldn't trade being siblings with her goofy ass for nun though. Honest to god if she asked me to give up my career and all my success for her happiness I'd do it in a heart beat. It's me and mines til the day i die and thats on moms.
