Melanie's Pov
-Beep Beep Beep- It's 8:30 am I just remembered that I'm going to Huntington Beach today! I took a quick shower and put on red high waisted shorts, a white crop top that said Bo$$,my black converse, light make-up, and my red and black SnapBack which I put on backwards. I got my stuff ready and waited for my sister downstairs. "WENDY HURRY UP!!!" I yelled "OKAY HOLD ON MELANIE IM ALMOST READY!" She yelled back I've been waiting impatiently when my sister came downstairs with a sunflower dress flip flops and some light make up. "Ready?" I ask "Yeah just let me set up the security system." She said. I but our bags in Wendy's red Mustang and waited for her in the car. "Hey babe where are you going?" said a familiar voice and that was my sisters boyfriend Chris. "My sister and I are going to our aunt and uncles house for the summer." Wendy said "Nice can I go with you guys?" He asked "Well-" I interrupted Wendy. "No sorry it's family only." I said "Oh well um I'll see you soon." Wendy said "Okay but can I get a kiss first?" Chris asked so they started to kiss which is pretty disgusting and cute in the same time the the kissing started to be a make out session so I interrupted them bye honking the horn. "OKAY LOVE BIRDS I GET NOW YOU GUYS LOVE EACH OTHER,WENDY WE HAVE TO LEAVE LIKE NOW!!!!" I yelled they laughed and Wendy spot in the car and started up the car and we were off to Huntington Beach.
"Finally we're here!" I yelled and all of a sudden I see my Aunt and Uncle walking towards our direction. "My two beautiful nieces look so beautiful" my aunt said. "You girls are all grown up" my uncle said. We greeted each other and my uncle helped Wendy and I with our bags. "Here is your room Wendy." My uncle said "And here's your room Melanie" my uncle said pointing at the too I'm sleeping in. "Thank you" I said. All of a sudden I see Baxter my Aunt and Uncle's boxer. "Baxter how are you boy" I say in a high pitched voice. I went downstairs I saw my aunt uncle and Wendy in the living room watching Divergent. "Guys I'm going to be outside for a while." I said "Okay sweetie just be careful okay?' My aunt said " Will do" I said. I went outside and sat on the porch and I see a boy staring at me. I turn around and it was him..... Brent Rivera
Brent's Pov
I'm with my family outside you know enjoying life and all of a sudden I see a girl sitting on the Medina's porch which are my neighbors. So I just started to stare at her, she's so beautiful with her SnapBack on backwards light make up and she does have a sense of fashion. I just admire her and she turns around and looks I can see the shock in her eyes. "Shit" I mumbled I walk towards her direction and introduce myself. "Umm Hey I'm Brent Rivera" I said she walks towards my direction "Hi I'm Melanie Medina." She said "So do you know the Medina's?" I asked her and she chuckled "Yeah I do their my aunt and uncle." She said. We had a long and nice conversation until my little sister Lexi interrupted "Hi I'm Lexi Brent's sister and you are?" Lexi asked "Im Melanie Medina." Melanie said "Wait are you Janet and Bart's niece?" Lexi asked excitedly "Yeah I am." Melanie replied "Well you're really pretty isn't she Brent?" Lexi asked with a smirk on her face I blushed "Yeah" I mumbled. "I am going inside nice meeting you Melanie hope we can hang out sometime!" Lexi yelled. She went inside the house. "Well um that was awkward." I said "Haha no it wasn't ." She said "Melanie" I said "Yeah?" She said "You're different from the other girls yeah you're a fan but you're really different but in a good way." She blushed a little "Haha there goes with the blushing!'' "Shut up" she said "Hey I wish we can talk more but I have to go it's getting a little dark." She said, then I realize it is getting dark I didn't keep track of time. "Oh okay can I get your number though?" She chuckled and said "Yeah sure why not." We exchanged phone numbers and she went inside her house. I went inside my house and ran upstairs before anyone can stop me. "YES FINALLY!" I yell and my brother Brice comes up and asks "You okay bro?" "Yeah I'm just super happy" I said Brice looked pretty confused. "Okay you know the Medina's?" "Obviously we're neighbors" Brice said with some attitude "Well their niece Melanie is staying with her aunt and uncle aka the Medina's and I kinda like her and I have her number!" I said "Whoa dude nice job but how can a smokin hot girl like her date a guy like you?" Brice said jokingly "Brice please shut the hell up okay." "Whatever bro nice job though." "Mhmmmmm that's right'' After Brice left my room I decided to text Melanie.
B- Hey Mel can I call you that? 😁
She replied instantly
M- Hey and yeah it's fine 😂
B- So are you doing anything tomorrow?
M- Nah my sister is going to find a summer job my aunt and uncle are going to work
B- Ahh okay so um do you want to come to the mall with me tomorrow? 😊
M- Yeah sounds like fun 😃
B-You don't mind if I bring any friends over?
M- Not at all
B- Sweet so I'll see you tomorrow at 12:30 pm
M- Yeah sure 😃
B- Okay well bye Mel see you later 😃😬
M- Okay bye Brent👋✌️
"Can't wait till tomorrow" I said to my self this is going to be the best summer ever I get to see the girl of my dreams everyday.
