A little red head girl, about 8, rushes down the stairs, and not too far behind followed her younger-brunette brother. "Can't catch me!" She exclaimed loudly before jumping up onto the railing and sliding the rest of the way down.

The boy watched this silently and tried to hoist himself on the railing as well but notices his weak arms aren't able to. This made the child pout while just taking the stairs down. At the end of the staircase the girl hops off the wooden railing and rushes to a set of double doors, opening them with a little struggle with how heavy they are.

In the room there is a simple table with only four chairs surrounding it and someone in one of them. The girl rushes to one of the chairs next to the said person with a bright smile.

"Morning Alex." The person greets the red head when she returns a simple 'hi' and places her hands in her lap. Just then the brunette boy from before walks in silently, going to the chair that is across from the person.

"Morning Steve." They glance down at the little boy, only getting a nod in response. "I hope you two had a good sleep-"

"I had a funny dream!" Alex interrupts, slightly swaying in her seat. "May I talk about it, Notch?" She looks up at him.

Notch nods with a small chuckle. "Of course! You know I enjoy to listen to them." He places his elbows on the table and leans his bearded chin in the palm of his hand as Alex begins to ramble on about her dream.

Steve on the other hand keeps his mouth shut, not having anything to say like always. He normally likes to keep to himself, fearing that the others may be uniterested in what he has to say, instead he writes them down.

While Alex continues to ramble on, two chefs come out with three plates of breakfast food and places them in front of the people at the table before heading back to the kitchen. Alex immediately started to dig into her food, stopping her story. Notch watches and snickers, picking up a piece of bacon to take a bite out of it.

Steve stares at the food on his plate, seemingly uninterested in the fact that his waffle seemed to be decorated in a smiley face made out of berries. He never seemed interested in many things other than what he thinks of and the man that sits before him, but he never would admit that.
