The Moon Goddess smiled down at the small tribe she had been watching grow over the years. Her long dewy arms stretched out to help light her small people's journey in the night. One of the small ones, a girl, she remembered the strange humans call her, stopped and smiled in thanks to her Goddess. Siren sighed in gratitude for being noticed. She trailed a small sliver of light over the girl and graced her with a gift. She watched the small girls hair turn stark white and her skin, a soft pale, and then her small knowing eyes turned a shimmering silver to match her Goddess.
"Ah my little young one, you will be my greatest gift to the world. A blessing to your people and mine," the Goddess whispered into the night.
The little girl, unknowing of the Goddess truest gift crept into the woods with her people.
"Help! Help! Oh Goddess what are these horrible creatures!"
The moon Goddess had been so focused on her young follower she had lost track of her people that had already careless walked into the woods without her watchful eye. She stared in silent horror as dark creatures moved through the woods slaughtering her people and tearing into their flesh. Red covered the falling snow around the tribe. Unable to help her people she watched in horror as her people were disembodied and torn from her. All except one. The little girl. She ran. Fast through the wilderness dodging and ducking each vile swipe the creatures took at her. Until she stopped at the edge of a cliff and with complete faith threw herself from the edge screaming out one last prayer to her Goddess for protection.
The Moon Goddess, without a second thought stretched out her hands and put all of her love for her people into her magic and caught the girl. Unknowingly bonding her soul with the small girl. And thus, enterwining their fates for the rest of eternity.
Years later when the Goddess regained her strength and learned of the betrayal of her brother Luscious, she created her own creatures. Ones that would rival the ones her brother created out of hunger for more power. And thus the war between the Lycans and the Vampires began. A war that her and her little warrior vowed to win.
