Luna's POV

As we walked inside the pack house an closed the door the outside noise dulled. Luka was still holding my hand as he started to lead me upstairs to our room. As we headed there I was already seeing pack members taking my things into his room, once they were done they would leave us so I decided to stand next to the window looking down at the party as everyone was leaving. After the last of my things were packed into the room the pack members bowed an left without a word. I turned from the window an looked at Luka as he was fixing up things in the closet taking my time I grabbed a few things from the drawers finding the need to shower. "I'll be downstairs but I'll be back to get you for dinner" Luka said as he walked towards the door as I looked at him I saw that he had already changed into comfortable clothes instead of the suit he was wearing earlier. I nodded to him an walked into the joining bathroom an turned the shower on so it could heat up as I slowly stripped off my clothes. As I stood in the shower all the events of tonight replayed in my head seeing Zeke kiss another girl without even caring for how I feel made my heart break all over again, curling up on the shower floor I cried at how much it hurt. I don't know how long I was in there until two arms wrapped around me an carried me out, knowing it was Luka I curled my body into him more and was calmed by the sound of his heart in my ear. The soft yet strong beats of his heart eased my pain a bit feeling his arms around me made me feel safe an warm even more than Zeke ever could. It was then I realized that Zeke an I knew we wouldn't be able to be together forever even if we wanted it to be. We would end up finding our mates and leaving each other but I wish it didn't end like that. I mean with all the time we spent together how could he do this to me i thought he cared for me more than that. Luka grabbed a towel an started to dry me off "Luka I'm tired" i whispered as he put one of his shirts on me. Luka tucked me in an curled up with me as he linked to our parents that we were going to bed early.
