Just My Luck (One Direction FanFiction)

Chapter 1

So this is my first story I've uploaded to Wattpad, and the first fan fiction that I've ever written, so I'm not sure if it's any good, I'm just judging by what my friends have told me :P 

Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, this is unedited and was written on my phone.

Annabel's POV 

"OH MY GOD!!" I heard someone scream 

I fell out of bed in shock. 

I looked across my room to see my 15 year old sister Lily and 2 of her little friends screaming, crying and running around like maniacs.

"What the hell is going on?!" I demanded loudly. 

"WE WON!!" Lily screamed, jumping up and down.

"Won what?" I moaned.

"The competition to meet one direction next weekend!! We won 4 backstage passes!!!" her friend, Holly, exclaimed, causing them all to start screaming again. 

Ugh, how I hate One Direction. Almost every girl I know is overly obsessed with them. I don't get why, they're just another fad band that'll be over within the next year. 

"Wow, that's so great" I said, the sarcasm obvious in my voice. I looked over at my clock and saw it read 8:26am, I groaned "Why'd you have to be in my room? Couldn't you have gone somewhere else?" 

Lily rolled her eyes "this is my room too, I have every right to be in here" 

I rolled my eyes as I stood up and went down to get myself some breakfast.

My mum and dad were already in the kitchen when I got downstairs. 

"Good morning honey" my mum smiled 

"Ugh, what's so good about it?" I complained. 

"Don't be such a grump!" my dad teased. 

"It's too early, they made weekends so you could sleep in" I moaned, walking to the fridge to get something to eat. 

"Yes, that brings me to ask, why are you so up early? It's not noon yet, shouldn't you still be asleep?" my mum inquired. 

"Ha ha, funny" I rolled my eyes before grabbing some strawberries out of the fridge "I would be still asleep if it wasn't for Lily and her stupid friends, their screaming woke me up" 

"Why were they screaming?" Mum looked concerned. 

"They won some stupid competition and got backstage passes to One Direction" 

"They did? Hold on, I'm going to go talk to them" Mum said going up stairs. 

I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch next to dad. 

"Why do you hate this band so much again?" my father asked 

I groaned "Because they're just another one of those cliche boy bands. They think they're the best people on this planet because some teenage groupies like them" 

Dad raised an eyebrow "How do you know that? Have you even listened to their music?" 

"Well, no" I admitted "but I don't have to, I know they'd be just the same as every other boy band" 

Mum came back downstairs with the girls behind her. 

"The concert they won is on next weekend" she stated 

"Next weekend? But next weekend is our anniversary, we'll be gone all weekend" my dad frowned. 

"I know" my mum paused "But they insisted that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity" 

"It is!" Lily whined, tears in her eyes "meeting One Direction is something that will probably never happen again!" 

My dad turned to me, his eyes wide "Anna, I know it's a pretty big ask of you, but would you-" 

"No" I cut him off, shaking my head vigorously "I won't take them" 

"Please? Please? Please?" Lily begged. 

"Oh come on honey" mum said. 

I rolled my eyes "No, I would not be caught dead at a One Direction concert" 

Dad looked at me again "your cars getting pretty run down lately, right?" 

"That's completely off subject" I frowned "but yes, it is, why do you ask?" 

"If you take Lily and her friends to the concert, we'll pay for your car to be serviced" 

"You're bribing me?" I rolled my eyes again, I had a bad habit of doing that. 

"Well?" Lily said, her voice filled with hope. 

I sighed, knowing I'd regret this later "I really need my car serviced, so fine, I'll take you to the stupid concert" I mumbled 

"OH MY GOD!! Thank you!!!" Lily screamed, running up to hug me 

I rolled my eyes "Don't thank me, just get off me and stop bugging me"

I know this chapter is a little boring, but I have to set the scene, so hopefully it'll become better as the story progresses haha
