Carter Jacobs is drowning.

Drowning in school, her illness, and family.

Like most teenagers, she thought she was invincible. Carter thought she could handle it. She thought she could handle the pressure of her AP classes while maintaing at least 3.8 GPA. She thought she could handle the stress of being the eldest and a role model of a foster family of 6 kids. And most importantly, Carter thouht she could handle her illness.

It started out as a simple way to help her keep focus while studying for her tests and homework.

"An easy A", is all she thought.

But oh God, was she wrong.

Once she was caught she was forced to go to a support group to help her addicition to adderall. She was forced to sit in a basement of an office building every Tuesday at six o'clock until seven.

Her foster parents didn't want the agency to find out the were raising such a "mess" of a daughter.

And most of all the did not want the rest of their five kids turning out like her.

How would that make them look? To their neighbors? The community? They liked their image and hoped to keep it that way. And if worse came to worse and they had to send their eldest far away to "fix" herself, they would do it in a hearbeat.

On the other side of town was, Harry Styles.

He had the life of an upper class guy. His parents also only cared about his image, but when he was forced to go to a fundraiser for his parents favorite charity he stormed out. He hated the idea that his parents didn't care about the actual kids, just the money and the image that it brought to them.

When he stormed out he was angry. He had this huge frustration that was built up, and it was pulling him under.

Harry, was drowning.

After his reckless night(s), his parents forced him into the same office building basement as a certain someone.

This is where the will eventually discover to, rise.
