This is a story about Austin not getting any parts in their songs because it's true. I would just like to say that Austin's an amazing singer and I think they can use him a little more on the songs. Not just as the choir.
"You okay honey?" Brandon asked and laid down beside Austin in their shared queen-sized bed. It had been a long day at the studio, well a long day for Brandon and the other guys.
He wasn't even told to come. "They wouldn't have used you anyways," Austin thought to himself.
"Austin?" Brandon said while waving a hand in front of Austin's face. "Oh sorry, what'd you say?" Austin said and shook his head a little to get all the thoughts out, it didn't work.
"I asked if you were okay," Brandon said and looked concerned. "Oh yeah I'm fine, just a tiring day I guess," Austin said and smiled. Brandon smiled back but couldn't help but still be concerned.
Austin had been acting differently these past few days and Brandon noticed it. He wasn't his usual bubbly self and Brandon was wondering what was wrong.
Both them of them being tired, Brandon because he sang the whole day and Austin because constantly tearing yourself down is tiring, decided to just go to sleep.

It was the next day and all the boys in the prettymuch household were awake, well all except Austin. It was another day with a lot of studio time and once again Austin wasn't invited.
"Don't you guys think it's wrong what the management is doing?" Brandon asked while they were busy eating breakfast. "What are they doing?" Zion asked while crumbling away on his cereals.
"Austin's also a part of the band and he's not even getting invited to the studio sessions anymore," Brandon said and frowned.
He looked down at his uneaten toast and decided he didn't have an appetite anymore. He pushed the toast away so he couldn't see it and looked over at Nick.
"Don't you think it's wrong?" Brandon asked almost pleading after no one had given him an answer. "We all think it's wrong Brandon, we just don't know how to respond to your question.
Yes again, we think it's wrong of the management but there's nothing we can actually do about it" Nick said and was about to continue when he was cut off.
"And there's nothing you guys should do about it," they all turned to look at Austin who had just walked out of Brandon and his bedroom.
"It's my fight to have with the management and you guys should just stop thinking about it. Now, it's my day off so please shut up so I can sleep" Austin said and with that, he walked back into the bedroom.
"Maybe we should listen to him this time, I mean, he has a point. It is his "fight" like he put it" Edwin said and threw Brandon's uneaten toast in the garbage can when he could see Brandon didn't want to eat.
"Yeah, Edwin's right Brandon. Stop worrying about and let's go to the studio" Zion said walked over to put his shoes on. "Just let me say something to Austin first," Brandon said and didn't wait for an answer from the boys. He walked to the door of their shared bedroom and went in.
It was completely dark inside but Brandon could hear Austin was not asleep. Not with the occasional sniffles coming from the bed. Brandon walked over to the bed and sat down right beside Austin's shaking body.
"Baby, why are you crying?" Brandon asked and reached out to touch Austin's shoulder as a caring mother would do to her sick child. "Because everything you said in the kitchen was right, but I was also right.
It is wrong what the management is doing but you shouldn't care about is. It has nothing to do with you and I just have to stop being a big baby and speak up" Austin said and turned around to face Brandon.
Brandon walked away from the bed and Austin actually thought he was going to leave. "Hey guys," after he got a yes from them all he continued.
"I'm gonna stay with Austin so you guys can just go without me. Just say I got sick or something" Brandon said and closed the door without a response.
"Why did you do that?" Austin asked and squinted his eyes after Brandon turned on the light. "I need you and you need me, don't try to deny it.
Fuck the management, fuck Simon, I just wanna cuddle with you all day until you're completely happy" Brandon said and laid down beside Austin.
"You're so sweet," Austin said and kissed Brandon's nose. "I actually have a surprise for you," Brandon said after a little while of just staring at each other. "And what's that?" Austin asked and smiled.
"I wrote a song. For you and you'll have the longest verse out of all in the band" Brandon said and smiled because he was so happy to finally say it to Austin. He had waited for the perfect moment and it was now.
"I'm thankful Brandon, I really am. But don't you think the Beanz will think it's a little weird that I get to have a whole verse on a song that you wrote?" Austin said, overthinking as usual.
"I don't care. This song is for you and me, it's just a bonus that it gets recorded" Brandon said. Austin sighed a happy sigh and cuddled more into Brandon. If that was even possible.
