"Hi mom, how are you doing?"
Can gave his mom a kiss on the top of her head
and sat down at the kitchen table.
She was preparing his favorite food, dolma.
The two most important people in his life were his parents,
even when they got divorced when he was at a young age,
they were always respectful against and about each other.
They held ground to their promise they made each other
when they seperated, their son's well being
becomes first priority and then there own.
Important decisions about him were made together.
Can had tried, in his rebellion state,
to dare them both for something
he knew the other wouldn't approve expecting to get it
but unfortunately they contacted each other
and respected the other one's wishes.
At the time he was not happy but now,
Can was grateful for that.
"I'm doing fine, my son, how are you doing?"
"Well,..........I have two things to tell you"
"A private thing and a business thing"
He knew exactly how to make his mom curious.
"Which will you prefer to hear first?"
"That streak you got from your father,
making your poor mom curious!!!"
Güldem said to her son with a twinkle in her eye.
Can bursted out in laughter, tilting his head backwards.
He loved teasing his mom.
The teasing was not a streak he got from his father,
this one he got from her, his mom loved teasing him.
"Okay, Can, start with the private thing!"
"The private thing is........"
Can lingered to make the suspense bigger.
"I have met a woman and I like her a lot,
she is a bit different than other woman and she works hard,
being a jewelry designer and her name is............
His mother was wiggling with her eyebrows
and he knew what she was going to say, "no, not Juliet"
She teased him at least two times a year, he didn't mind.
Once in a while he thought about that special girl,
who's name always will be Juliet
because he didn't know her real name.
When he thought about that special girl,
he wondered what she would look like,
her age would be about 25 years
