"I'm okay.. I'm okay.." Eddie whispered, nodding and rocking back and forth slightly. "Thank you, my kn-knight." He mumbled with a soft chuckle, nodding again despite Richie not being able to see him. "I'll see you in a sec. Call me when you're here." He murmured, smiling slightly because Richie always made him so fucking happy. So so fucking happy. "I'll see you in a sec." He said again just to hear Richie's voice a little more before he talked to the devil herself. He hung up and stood up, putting his phone in his pocket. He took a deep breath and reached into the cupboard. He was swinging a blue tote-bag as he came into the bathroom. He set it in the sink, unzipped it, and then, with trembling hands, he began to spill bottles and jars and tubes and squeeze-bottles and spray-bottles into it. Under other circumstances he would have taken them out handful by careful handful, but there was no time for such niceties now. He zipped it back up and slid his arm through the two straps so that hung on his shoulder. He walked back into the bedroom and put the suitcase on the floor. He pressed the long button on the suitcase, putting his knee on it and pulling the handle up. He dragged it towards the door and opened it. He could hear that soft, manipulative crying from downstairs. And for once in his life he really did not care. He felt the smallest bit bad but he knew what she had done to him. For all of these years. Then he looked at the tote bag on his shoulder and bit his bottom lip. He didn't need all of this medicine.. but what if he did? He decided he would bring it just incase. Just incase. He walked down the stairs and put his bags down. He put on his shoes, taking his time to tie up the laces neatly. He stood up and realised the crying had gotten closer. He grabbed his coat, turning to the doorway that lead to the living room. There she was crying.

"Please dont leave Eddie.." She whimpered, leaning against the door frame with her hands clasped together to act as if she were helplessly begging.

"I'm gonna leave for tonight. Maybe a couple more nights." Eddie said, putting his coat on and avoiding eye contact with the horrible person. "Maybe even.. a few months. Because when I come back I'm gonna have divorce papers. Signed. Because I don't love you. I'm breaking up with you. Leaving you. Divorcing you. You're unhealthy for me." He explained, bending down and returning the bag to his shoulder. Then he paused. He opened the bag and spilled the bottles and jars and tubes and squeeze-bottles and spray-bottles all over the floor. He grabbed his inhaler. "They're unhealthy for me and you gave them to me. You're toxic, Myra." He added, dropping the blue bag onto the floor as he grabbed his scarf, wrapping it around his neck. He picked his suitcase back up and let out a sigh of relief. He was gonna be free from her. Finally.
