Chapter 2

It had been a while since I'd had that conversation with my aunt.
"I'll see you tomorrow" he said. This had gone on for a while it had been a month since I came and all went smoothly until one day I came home and...
"Uh ah no pause in the house... wait your golden? " said my aunt. I should've switched back.
"But I have blue eyes" i said
"you're right" she looked at me oddly "I'll figure out what that means don't tell your great uncle also why are your eyes glowing who were you with?" She asked almost worried
"Just Jace." I replied
"oh no already?"
"Already what?" I asked
she opened the door while I transformed and howled.
Jace came running and panting.
"I knew it" she said.
"No, it can't be." He said
My aunt sat us down on the couch
" what about Andy?" She asked jace
" my father would've married me off with anyone you know how it is I'd have to pick any girl and it wouldn't have been my imprinty" he said
"I'm going to tell him" she said
" I know" he said
" ok what's going on?"
"Jace imprinted on you" she said
" really?" I asked
"Yes how do you know what imprint means this is what I mean." She said

"It's in almost every werewolf movie ever." I replied

Jace laughed my aunt glared at him.

"Go upstairs both of you." She demanded
I didn't know what was to happen I mean I was only 15 and had a soulmate.
On our way up I got a text it was from Emily "summers almost over and I can't go back to studies"
"Yeah neither can i" I wrote
" so tell me what's going on?"
Emily was my bestfriend I told her everything she's been there for everything but I wasn't sure if this would put her in danger so I thought it best to lie I didn't want to but I had to. "Nothing" I wrote back.
"Who's that?" Asked jace
"My friend.. hey question what happens with imprinties and imprinted?"I asked

" I don't really know" he replied
" but you pretended with that girl didn't you?" I said
"Yeah but the elders knew that was fake and pretended we did all that stuff... all I really know is that they stay together no matter what."
We entered my room
" come in sire" I said sarcastically we both laughed
" ladies first please" he continued
" uh oh" he said fixing his eyes on the window.
" there coming."
"Who is?"
"The elders which would be fine but since my father found out by now there will be a punishment."
" but didn't they help you?"
" yeah but my father doesn't know that." He said

" wait but I have red fur maybe they'll pardon you if..." I said before getting cut off
"no I'm not letting you do that"
He headed down stairs I followed
My aunt was there talking to them.
They spotted jake and said "This is our fault your pardoned show up for the ritual tomorrow."
"What ritual did you do that ritual without that girl?" I asked
"Ooh do I detect a hint of jealousy?"
He said.
" no but it's a ritual isn't it like holy matrimony?" I claimed
" umm no not exactly" he said
" but did you?"
He started to laugh but then looked at me and stopped "no I didn't."
He said Smiling
" it's not funny" i said
"Ok" he said still grinning.
I rolled my eyes.
The next day we had the ritual.
"Ok this is what will happen to make sure you imprinted you will live together." Said an elder
"What?" I said alarmed
"don't worry they're joking.. I hope" Jace explained
"Oh umm ok" I said
"Where is she?" Screamed a voice from behind it was my father
"This can't just happen it's a silly imprint."
"It is not just a silly imprint how dare you" said an elder
"Wait let me speak to him" said my aunt she lead him outside to this day I have no clue what she told him but he came back in, calm and said "proceed."

"Then there will be a test you must pass together." Said an Elder

That night we did what the Elder had said.
A week had passed and it was midnight by now.
" can you sleep?" Asked Jace
"No " I replied.
" this is my fault" he said no it isn't you were just trying to help" I said
" what do you think the test is going to be?" He asked
" i don't know maybe it's something to do with that girl" i said
"Ok " said hugging me close.
"Can I tell you something?" He carried on.
" yeah go ahead"
" Did I tell you she has a boyfriend?"
He said.
I got up turned and hit him with a pillow "your so mean" I stated I don't know how maybe it was the imprint maybe it was something else but I felt like I'd known him for an etertnity and that made me protective sometimes.
He hit me back with the pillow and in the morning there was nothing but feathers on the floor and a surprised aunt that morning.
She woke us up saying "what happened here?"
" werewolf pillow fight" jace replied
She giggled " ok get up time for a hunt" she said
" I looked at jake and said the only thing that came to mind "race you?"
"You're on" he replied
I turned into a wolf and hurried down stairs he had beaten me down stairs but how "you jumped our the window didn't you?"
"Maybe" he replied
I rolled my eyes and we went for a hunt.
" so you feel like squirrel or..." he said
" hmm how about human?"
"What?" He jumped in horror
