Devin was a quit kid he never talk to anyone but Anna his best friend. He never really like other people.

She gave him love,happiness a reason to fight for his life. Best part is Anna had a similar life. Anna was beaten by her real father and yelled at by her mother. She was treated like dirt by her family as well. There alike in many ways. Devin could see them together. But didn't want to hurt there friendship. It hurt him to see Anna. Twisted in her life I stung him to see her cuts. Every night when Devin got home from school he would take his lighter and burn his skin.
It would turn a reddish color like sun burn in the summer. It made him feel alive he took out his knife to carve the words
No feeling in to his soft skin. He wouldn't scream in fact he would laugh as he cut his arm it bleed a lot but he wrapped a bandage on it to make it feel better. Pain never hurt Devin he was strong on the outside but in the inside there was so much pain that you would break down in tears. Devin isn't alive he just a corps walking around living a bad life till the day he dies or un tell he wants to take the meds,rope,bleach or anything just so his life would end
