Maya muffled her scream as she was staring at something that was the shape of a human, but you couldn't tell from all the dirt and blood that covered the body. She immediately tossed down the blanket that she was holding and ran to Elijah's side. He had her take Vanessa to the bathroom and run a bath.
While she was doing that, he cautiously woke up the stranger that had been sleeping on their floor. When he woke up, he looked confused, scared, and territorial all at the same time. Elijah asked him what he was doing there, ready to fight at any given second.
"I don't know" he replied
"Well, then what us your name?"
Elijah knew that he was not going to attack, so he smiled and handed him the blanket to wrap himself in.
