**Hey guys ! Hope you enjoy my story!**

Taylor's POV

"Thanks" I expressed with fake enthusiasm to the airport magazine vendor. I am truly not in relatively cheerful mood after having to be stuck on a plane for 25 hours straight with a bunch of obnoxious acquaintances. For some insane reason my school director thought it would be a fabulous idea to take 57 choir kids from a small town in Alberta, Canada to London, England. Bringing small town kids into a gigantic metropolis is just what we all needed.

I followed the long line of tired kids, all of their backs accompanied by our school colours and logo: green and gold and the head of a ram. Frantically, I looked for my best friend, Maddie, who had thankfully came on the trip also. I'm so glad I made her try out for choir or this trip would have been the death of me. I finally found her to be  slightly tripping over her own feet in the frantic rush, she of course being the only one who would decide to be obnoxious and stubborn enough to wear wedged heels in an airport.

"Did you get me my magazine?" Maddie wearily asked while searching me with her eyes.  Before I had time to respond, she yanked the shiny new magazine out of my hand, causing it to tear the front cover just a bit.

"TAYLOR WHAT THE HELL" she inspected the gossip filled book with a slight sadness and agitation, but that was probably because of the tedious flight. We both continued to follow our fluorescent crowd to the baggage claim area. As the chaperones did role call, making sure that one of us hadn't already gotten lost in the intimidatingly huge building, Maddie sat on the ground scanning through her magazine. Five boys suddenly appeared on the page with the bright heading of "Have you caught the One Direction infection ?" Maddie let out a slight but audible squeal .

She was in undying love with this British boy band. One of the few reasons she came on this trip was in hopes that she'd maybe have even a glance at them.. well, that and I made her so I wouldn't be alone. 3 weeks in a place with a cluster fuck of people I don't want to speak to is not appealing in the least, but throw in your best friend? Deal.

Ever since this One Direction became popular, all I ever heard come out of her mouth was how incredibly hot they all are, or how great they all sounded, or how she'd give up her first born child to be locked in a room with them. Thanks to her, we've probably been demoted a few steps on the social status charts but I love her non the less.

"We have to keep an eye out for them the entire time we're here, okay?" Maddie decided to re-mention for the billionth time this past month.

"Mhm." I unenthusiastically agreed, having had done so for all the past times also. I wasn't too into them. I mean, yeah some of their songs were catchy but I'm surely not on any level of fanning over them. I grabbed my bright silver suitcase and drug it over to where all the chaperones were yet again organizing us. I swear, if it's like this the entire time I will pack up and go. Hover bugs and organization are the last things I need to have on this trip.

Maddie came over, dragging her ever-so-floral bag over. She really did have a flower obsession. We all tiredly walked out onto the busy hustle and bustling sidewalks of the airport. Looking around, all you could see for miles was people swarming around each other like it was a bees hive. Radiant taxis were crammed up and down the long road, picking up and letting out busy looking citizens. This was actually quite a calming sight. Seeing people who actually go out and do something with their lives instead of stay in one spot forever makes me want to go explore the world. There's no way that I'm staying in my small town forever. London though, won't be ending up here either. Too busy and not to mention the crappy weather. Every second it the clouds seemed to threaten us further with it's gloomy grayness. The big black, official looking bus that was to take us to our hotel finally arrived. We all shuffled on like a disorderly heard of cows and we were off.

"I really really really hope this trip will be worthwhile." Maddie said as she started to dose off during our first few minutes into the ride. I wonder if she'll be ready for our early wake up tomorrow.

"Same here." It won't be.
