My names Lily Ann Waters I am 15 years old and Im pretty depressive ever since my mom died giving birth to me then my dad blames my moms death on me and gets drunk and beats me plus last week I got raped in an alley way Im still scared to death of it. Im just glad I had my friend Ronnie Beth Bush throughout all of this and she's 18 years old; I also have this other friend who always tells me to get over it but she just doesn't get it she's never had it happen to her so blah but she is 17 years old and her name is Hanna Grace Bush she Ronnie’s younger sister doesn't have a boyfriend none of us do. In fact not only do I not have a boyfriend but I have no friends except my them who are basically my sisters, its so depressing especially since they are older and they have other friends so they don’t hang with me too much so Im pretty much a loner except for when Im alone I have my dad to deal with but he has work most of the day luckily he goes to work at 6:30 am then gets back at like 9:00 pm. Yeah Im a very shy person now after everything Ive been through but Im sure many people have it way worse than me but still Im a baby about things heck I am the baby of my even thought Im almost the only person in my family. Ronnie and Hanna come to my house pretty much everyday after Tim leaves thats my dads name I don't normally call him dad.Yeah Hanna and Ronnie are pretty much my sisters and I call them my sisters all the time. Anyways I was asleep then I woke up and breakfast was made so I ate.
“Who wants to go to the beach and meet some cuuuute boys!” Hanna asked so excited she loves seeing boys.
“Sure I would love to” Ronnie said “So Lily do you wanna come to” I shrug my shoulders “Well Im not leaving you here alone Lily so your coming”
“Lily cant you freaking talk I mean seriously your not that bad jeez your fine for pete’s sake” Hanna said meanly
“Lily don”t listen to her its ok. Hanna its been a week shut up!” Ronnie yelled. Oh did I forget to mention that they don’t know about dad blaming for mom and him beating me they haven’t found my bruises luckily.
“Yeah yeah whatever lets go your driving right Ronnie” Hanna said
“Duuh now lets go” Ronnie said then we went to Ronnie’s car and went to the beach.
“Ok Lil time to get out” Ronnie said and I got out kind of slowly
“Are for real Lily knock it off your freaking fine seriously its been a week get over it” Hanna said angrily.
“Hanna stop your just jealous because the attention isn't all on you for once” Ronnie argued
“Whatever if thats what you think whatever” Hanna argued again and I put my hands over my face and started crying and ran over to the beach area where Ronnie followed after giving Hanna a rude look. Then Hanna went to the gym. Then Ronnie followed me and went to the beach to talk to me.
“Lily are you ok?” Ronnie asked
“Y-yes” I stuttered a bit crying, Im ashamed but I cant stop myself from stuttering when I talk, but I am getting betterish I only do it once in a while now.
“Oh still doing the stuttering thing Im sorry Lily” she said going to hug me I flinched then let her hug me. “What was that about”
“I-its fine don’t worry and n-nothing it was nothing” I stuttered wiping my eyes. Then two guys walk over to us.
“Hey I was just wondering how come you were crying?” One of the boys asked
“Our sister was yelling at her for not being over being raped 1 week ago she's a drama queen and everything has to be about her so yea”
“Oh yikes I’m so sorry. So she doesn't talk much does she?”The second boy asked
“No not much she's very shy from the rape and I have a feeling something else that she wont tell me” Ronnie said and I just shook my head like no nothing else I wasn't telling her.
“Oh, well Im sorry for bothering you but Im Riker Lynch and this is my brother Ross Lynch and you guys are?” The first boy said whose name is apparently Riker
“Well Im Ronnie Bush and this is my younger sister who isn't really my sister, Lily Waters.” Ronnie said smiling
“Oh well good to meet you guys wanna go for a swim or surf with us? We just got off our shift as a lifeguard” Riker asked smiling
“We would love to right Lily” Ronnie said and I nodded then I took off my swim suit overing and luckily my bruises were gone. Then we all went swimming and surfing it was the best time of my life I like these guys maybe I will have friends I hope so anyways. Then after that I was so tired its the most exercise Ive had in forever so I decided to lay a towel down and lay down for a while and passed out. Then Ronnie walks over to where I am with Riker and Ross and sees me asleep.
“Oh great she fell asleep” Ronnie laughed
“Ill help you take her to the car if you’d like” Riker offered
“Sure if you want to I was just gonna wake her up”Ronnie said smirking and then Riker picked me up bridal style and put me in Ronnie’s car. Then Ronnie went to go get Hanna in the gym and saw her drooling all over this “cute guy” not literally drooling though. They were spending the night with me tonight and there really heavy sleepers.
“Hanna we gotta go” Ronnie said
“Why? I don’t want to Im hanging out with Austin right now” Hanna whispered to Ronnie
“Because Lily’s asleep and she might wanna be in her bed plus, its getting late” Ronnie said
“Of course I should’ve known it was something with Lily Ugh!” she groaned rolling her eyes.
“Don’t you dare be like that seriously Ive had enough of you hating on Lily so you can either come now and have a ride or all I care you can just walk your ass home” Ronnie said angrily
“Fine you know what I will find my own way home so just go” Hanna yelled softly
“Alright fine bye you better be at Lily’s house by 8:30 because if your not home by then I will kick your butt” Ronnie said walking away and got into the car.
“Wait I thought you were getting your sister” Ross said
“Well I was gonna but then she hated on Lily again so now she has to find her own way home before our dad gets home at 9” Ronnie said
“Oh ok well I guess we’ll go now since every things good here” Ross said walking away slowly
“Wait” Ronnie said
“Yes!” Ross said excitedly
“Do you guys need a ride somewhere?” Ronnie asked
“Oh well no we kind of live here at a beach house right over there” Ross said pointing over at his house right beside the lake.
“Oh nice so I guess we better go then do you wanna come over and eat with us?” Ronnie asked them nervously
“Oh sure that sure that sounds fun besides you might need someone to take Lily inside”Ross laughed then they got in the car and we went back to the house.
