(3rd person view) To say (y/n)'s life has a bad childhood, would be a nicer way to put it. his parents would outright shunned him, lock him in the basement, and would even bear him bloody pulp, feed him once once or twice a week but the food either be stale or moldy, he never even celebrated his birthday or Christmas, they would often beat him as a pinata or leave him out in the cold, how he manage to kept and control his sanity is anyone's guess, but isn't all bad, just like with everything, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, he had 3 friends that was always there for him, Bobby, Kyle, and William, the 4 have a brotherly friendship, they would try often try to support (y/n) that his parents refused to, sometimes he wish he could away from his home with his friends, going adventures, saving people, and be heroes, and maybe this day, that wish could finally come true.
(Y/n pov)
The last school bell rang, and everyone was walking out the door, I was putting my stuff on my backpack and was leaving the classroom, while walking I was stop by my brothers in arms (I'm the youngest of the group by 5 years old, bobby is 7, kyle is 6 and William is 8)
Y/n: Hey guys.
Bobby: hey y/n
Kyle: how are you doing?
Y/n: well I guess...
William: So what do you what today is?
My heart sank like a rock.

Bobby: you know don't have to go home to "celebrate" there, you know that right?

Kyle: I'll call my mom and ask her if we could celebrate at my house

This is a bad idea, I know my friends are trying to help but I'm worried that after this my parents are gonna murder me, we were at my Kyle's house to celebrate my birthday.
Kyle: dude, it's gonna be okay, it's gonna be fun.
Y/n: but...
Bobby: no buts okay, we promised we have your back, so please relax your with us on your day,
Y/n: *sighs* alright guys I trust you.
William: okay man, good.
Kyle: so the party's isn't gonna start until four hours from now.
Y/n:what do you guys want to do until then?
Bobby: maybe watch rwby volume 7? We haven't watch it before?
All 3: yeah!!

We have watch all the episodes of rwby up to this point, and because of that, we decided to watch the other half of kamen rider ryuki, we absolutely love the show, just as much as rwby, we then heard from Kyle's mom that the party is starting, we then go downstairs and we actually have, a great birthday, something I never thought, it would happen, after all the fun, Kyle's mom then brought out the cake.
Everyone: Happy birthday to (y/n), happy birthday to you!
Kyle: Make a wish little buddy
(Y/N): *sighs* (I wish me and my friends would be kamen riders and go into the world of rwby) *then blows out the candles*

The 4 of us were in Kyle's room, having a sleepover, after a actually good day, I was sleeping until atmosphere feels different, I was waking up to use the bathroom and I noticed we are not at Kyle's house, we were in some kind of temple.
