" Sanemi! " Y/n exclaimed

" What is it , Y/n? " He asked

Y/n smiled softly as they stated," I'm glad you're back and I made you some ohagis for when you come back! " Sanemi' serious face cracked into a soft smile which only Y/n got to see.

" Tonight the firework show is going to happen." They said as they messed with their hands

" If you're asking me to go with you. I accept going with you to the firework show." He said with the same gentle smile as the scars on his face were beautiful to their eyes

" A new scar? " They thought as they saw Sanemi's forearm which seemed to be bandaged

Sanemi noticed that Y/n staring at his newly bandaged forearm, he said," We had a meeting with boy and his demon sister—"

"You tried to prove your point like you always do." Y/n still smiled as they picked up one of Sanemi's scarred hands as they placed it on their right cheek

" You deserve the best, Sanemi." They said as they kept his hand on their right cheek

Sanemi smiled as he took his scarred hand away from Y/n  which to him was almost like a god sent.

" I'll come get you when the sunsets." He said softly as water ran through the fresh rocks underneath a creek

Y/n nodded as they walked to their entrance and they waved to signal Sanemi that they were home and they saw as the white haired male turned into a mere figure as he walked away.

" Y/n, is he gone? " A whisper asked

"Yes, he's gone." They responded back as they entered the home closing the door to only pitch black hallways

Y/n smiled softly as they carefully walked through the dark hallways and they finally reached to a small child with eyes like a cat and nails which were sharp to the touch

" Good morning, little sister." Y/n said softly as they sat down in front of her

S/n's stomach growled as she bit down on her bottom lip as Y/n hugged her and she said," Don't worry. I'll find you something to eat." Her soft blue eyes watered with pain as her mouth revealed razor sharp teeth. Y/n went behind her as they rolled up their sleeves as they tried not to shed tears.

" This will be the last meal that I'll give you, S-S/n.. Rem-remember I will always love you, S/n." Y/n stated as they lifted their forearm towards her mouth They thought,"I'm so sorry, Sanemi. I hope you can forgive me."

Sanemi had arrived when the sunset as he knocked on the door a couple of times. He slides open the door which he didn't expect that to happen as Y/n had always locked the door, this made him worry deeply about them. He walked around the house through each room and each hallway as his nose burned at the smell of blood so he unsheathe his sword as he turned a corner to see a demon-like child devouring Y/n. He could hear Y/n trying desperately to breathe but it was filled with blood stained gurgle, he tried to slice the demon but the demon escaped.

" Goddamnit Y/n ! " He shouted as he desperately tried to cover and stop the bleeding

" San...Sanemi.... I'm- I'm sorry." Y/n said as their eyes stared at his sorrow filled expression

" Do-Don't waste you're energy, Y/n! I-I'll get-get you to Shinobu! You-you'll be good as new!" He cried out as his hands were drenched in their blood as his tears fell onto what remained of Y/n's body as the scent of lavender  twirled with the scent of blood.

Sanemi sat next to the stone which it had a design of a Lily flower, he took out of his pocket which was it was a handkerchief with two ohagis which the right one was broken in half while the left one was normal. He watched the fireworks pop into the air like a dying star that exploded, he felt a cold breeze pass him.
