Caught in a Lie

Halo! I got the inspiration of the title from Jimin's song Lie (obviously) so I thought about switching up the idea Lord_Hogake_The_Thot gave me where she wanted Jungkook to be in this one but I couldn't think of any titles so deal with it! But also of course enjoy!

Y/n POV

   I was planning to spend time with my boyfriend Jungkook today but he reminded me that he had a concert today so here I am! Stuck at home with nothing to do! I had suggested that maybe I could attend and just be backstage watching but he said fans may notice me in the back. See, because I'm not popular or anything he thinks it's a good idea that no one knows we're dating. He says it's best so that if we break up, army won't get mad at me and chase me everywhere. Because of that though, we normally just hang out at home. After my disappointment was noted and he left the house, I decide to make me an ice cream sundae and watch his performance on TV live. The concerts usually play late at night so I had to get some sugar in my system so I stay awake. A little bit later when I get to the channel, I had made it to the part where Jungkook's solo dance had started. This time, he was doing it inside shallow water with a scarf he used to whisp around all gracefully like a ballerina. Honestly, it was vet beautiful. After that was over, it was time for the real concert to begin.

   It's almost the end of the concert and I'm snaking on chips now. The group has finished dancing and now they are talking to army about if they enjoyed the performance. Jungkook kept making faces at the camera like that cutie he is. When Jin was done talking, he handed the microphone to Jungkook so he could have a turn. "Thank you so much army for being here and supporting us to get us to where we are today. I would like to also thank the members for being big hardworking people and another person I think you guys will love." I leaped up from my seat. Was he about to tell them that I'm his girlfriend?! "I would love to thank my girlfriend, Lisa!"
   I sat there frozen. It was a joke right? Well apparently not because out from the corner of the stage comes Lisa all dressed and fitted to look like a super model. When she came over to Jungkook, they shared a kiss together. My heart shattered into pieces at that very moment. How could the man I love do this to me? We'd been together for almost 4 months now. Either he lost live for me or he was drunk one night and made a horrible mistake! I watched a little more before it ended and the staff came out onto the stage to say that they were going home now. I jumped up from the couch and ran into my bedroom. I pulled out one of the suitcases my mom gave me in case it didn't work out (thanks Mom), threw it on the bed and started packing my stuff while also changing out of my PJ's. I couldn't stand standing in this house for one second. I don't even think I can look at him.
   I had fully changed and even took a little bit of money and stashed it in my purse. I didn't wanna go to my mom's place just yet so I decided to go to a coffee shop to spend time with a friend, go live at her apartment for a little while and then go with my mom. I had texted the whole plan to both of them and they approved. As I was struggling to get my suitcase down the steps, I heard the door open. He was home.
   I immediately heaved my suitcase up again and hurled it with myself back inside the room. I didn't calm down though cause I could hear him calling for me and his footsteps were coming up the steps. I was shaking so badly. I didn't wanna confront him! I just wanted to go with my friend and never see him again. I had to face my fears though. So I got up from the corner I had been hunched in, grabbed my suitcase by the handle, and opened the door.
   There he stood. Jeon Jungkook with his happy bunny smile. "Hey baby! Now that I'm back from the concert, do you wanna go get some Italian food? Your favorite!" I bit my lip from anger cause he made one mistake. I hate Italian food. I just rolled my eyes and pushed him out the way. He grapped my wrist before I could go any farther though. "What's wrong? You tired or something?" "Oh yeah I am tired. Tired of you!" His face expression looked so confused like nothing was wrong. "Look Jungkook, I know your dating Lisa so just drop the act. I'm gonna go live with my best friend for awhile then back at my mom's place so I can get my job back and maybe even find a guy who will be more loyal than you probably have ever been." He looked speeches. "You watched the performance didn't you? Y/n, I do love you! The staff just made me lie that Lisa was my girlfriend because there had been rumors I was dating someone but they said I couldn't say it was you. So they made me say it was Lisa." I wanted to push him down the steps in frustration from the amount of lying he was doing. "Oh is that so? Then how come you said Italian food was my favorite because if your a good, loyal boyfriend you would remember that I hate Italian food!" His face went red from embarrassment of being caught. "Psh! See you are lying! I don't know why you weren't loyal but it's over. Goodbye Jungkook.
   As I was walking down the steps, Jungkook followed me down begging me for forgiveness. I just kept going and when I got to the door, I stepped outside, pushed him back, and slammed the door in his face! It felt so good to do that for some reason. I walked to my car, got in, and started it up. I was about to put my hand on the wheel when I remembered about the money I took. I wanted to make sure I took all of it. When I checked my purse, I was delighted to find exactly $1,000,000,000 in the purse. That was all his allowance that the members give him each month which was $100. All of that added up to make this much money? I contemplated if I was lucky or horrible for stealing but it really isn't my fault. If Jungkook hadn't cheated, maybe he would've kept his added up $100 allowance. After like 5 minutes of thinking, I finally landed on a conclusion. I'm rich af now.

My reads haven't exactly improved so the amount of FF I will create will be very small. The title will now be updated with slow updates until my reads go up. Until then (hopefully if I get an idea) I'll see you very soon. I Love UwU! 💜💜💜💜🌺
