Okay, so if you care for starscream, but Megatron doesn't trust you to be honest about anything starscream says or does, admit to yourself that he is, seriously, flawed.
I'm not saying to stop liking him, I freaking love the con, but in Megatrons presence, call him "Screamqueen, Star sqeak, seeker diva, stardom seeker" and other unpleasant nicknames to have Meg's think you're opinion isn't biased in favour of the Great lord starscream.
Just hear me out, you're enemies will always aim for the killing shot, yet none knows more furry then a best friend. As the deceptions don't seem to have a friendship tugawar during an ongoing war, you can be as savage as you see Fit when it comes to your besty, Screamqueen.
