The wind pressing up against my skin, it feels like I'm flying.

I stop to a take a breather then get back to the pavement, my legs going harder and faster stretching out with each step. I can feel my muscles in my body getting weaker and weaker making it harder to breathe.

I look up ahead my teammates are 50 kilometers ahead while I'm at the back of the line. Dammit I'm not fast I say to myself while sitting on the ground thinking; I'll never catch up.

Suddenly this breeze comes by me and when I feel it the aroma is so intoxicating that I felt mesmerize by it and I couldn't move.

When I looked ova my shoulder I saw this beautiful figure running. Black and grey sports bra with basketball shorts that had the golden insignia on it that said "Badass".

I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I wasn't dreaming as she got closer to me she looked at me and smiled and mouth the words "slow poke".

From that moment I fought the urge to get up. My legs stumbling as the wind continued to pressed up against me. It was getting colder the sky getting darker. I looked up to see nothing but dancing grey clouds. They fought vigorously while the rain started to drip from the sky one by one. I kept starring thinking I would see something amazing but it was only my imagination.

I looked down in front of me the tall blonde girl was already approaching my team mates. I bent down slowly and began running again. My heart beating faster and my breathe getting shorter and shorter. My eyes start to shut I can't keep this up much longer I say to myself.

I try to call out but no one can here me. The tightness in my chest gets heavier and heavier, I try to slow my pace down but it only makes things worse. I fall to the ground my eyes slowly closing and opening I feel like this is my final moment. I look up towards the sky and see the lighting and thunder crackling in the sky. They continue to fight over sky. I laid down on the ground my eyes getting heavier, I look up and a figure nothing like anything I've seen before starts to walk towards me. I scream can u help me, please?

The figure just keeps walking towards me. I have a bad feeling I tell myself the way it looks doesn't look human or normal. I try to move but my chest hurts and my breathing is getting worse. My body tightens up even more I can't breathe.

The figure finally closer to me waves their hand over me and suddenly I fall into a deep sleep. My body not able to move, but I'm still breathing. My heart rate it's slowing down, that tightness in my chest is going away. It feels like I was given a full recovery which is impossible because this can't be happening. I open my eyes to see the rain drops hitting the ground I listen and I hear nothing but rain. I look around no one is there but me not even the stranger was there anymore. I rise to my feet and notice a mark on my hand it looks like an arrow with a yellow bird on it.

I feel my heart beat it's easy and it's not longer wild and uneasy. I take off running again only this time I feel lighter and faster. As I ran I can feel the rain against my face and it feels refreshing but when I look closely I can see a rain drop fall perfectly from the sky. My heart rate is still steady which I don't understand; my body doesn't hurt nor am I out of breathe.

Something inside of me pushes further and is calling me to run faster and go harder. This feeling is so strong that my body feels like it has a mind of my own. I lift my legs and push faster I run harder as I tighten up my body and move faster. The rain feels so loose that as it falls from the sky my body is moving faster and faster. Within seconds I have caught up with my teammates and shot ahead of them. I approach the finish line Only to see the blond girl again. When I looked at her she smiled and mouth the words "it's about time".

I passed by her only to be the first one to cross the finish line. I look over my shoulder to see if anyone is about to be in second place when I look back everyone else is about 10 minutes from crossing. I jump back not only scared but how did I catch up and cross the finish line in seconds when everyone else is still running? I look down and I see my body is fine. I'm not out of breathe nor do I feel like i am about to collapse.

I think back what did that stranger do to me?

Whatever he has done if I ever meet him again I will say thank you.
