"Mother don't do this please, we can hide her until they search through the house," Ila responded with tears in her eyes.

Ila put her in the baskets, I felt like I was forgetting something, right before Ila put her through the portal I remembered, "Wait! I just need to do one more thing before you send her off." I bent near her and put a locket around her neck, engraved on it says her name; Kenna. With the locket she can open the portal to this world whenever she's ready to face her true kind. I put a letter in the basket explaining to her new family who she really is, and that to give the letter to her at her 17th birthday. I gave Kenna a gentle kiss on the forehead "Okay, I'm finished now,"
Ila pushed her through the portal, "Good-bye my baby, till then," I had tears in my eyes my precious baby now gone to live with a different family.
