We arrive at the cinema, hand in hand, scuffing my battered converse along the edge of the dusty kerb of the pavement leading up to the doors. Jokingly you push me; "You're not going to be scared, are you?" And I laugh back and hit you with my bag, almost pushing you into the sliding door as we step into the theatre. "What was that?" You say, rubbing your side where I'd hit you, "It felt sharp."
"Nothing, probably just my water bottle." I grin, planting a kiss on your cheek to distract you. Blushing, you turn away and try to hide your smile, and I pull you along to the counter to pay for popcorn. While you do that, I casually walk over to the entrance to the screens. Like always, the computer showing the CCTV footage is there. A few clicks and I've deactivated screen 4's.I suggest we should go to the toilet before the film, and we separate to do so. As soon as you go inside I run for screen 4 and grab the silenced gun from my bag. Pulling on my hood (the hood of your hoodie, in fact) and firing at the CCTV camera just to make sure, the muffled shot is loud but not loud enough to escape the thick walls of the almost soundproof theatre. I stuff the gun into my bag and run back out, just a few seconds before you leave the bathroom. Hope you remember what it looked like since that'll be the last time you ever see it.
Walking into screen 4, the ratty once-plush velvet seats are all empty. Settling for the back row, we can see the whole room before us. Good. Just as the seating website had been when I booked, it was completely empty. Kicking off my shoes I curl up on my seat, leaning against you, and you wrap an arm around me and I throw little pieces of popcorn at your face. My position pushes my skirt up a little bit, so I slide my legs over yours, slinky in my black tights. Still throwing popcorn at your face, the adverts start to roll in, and it's not long before the movie starts. After about ten minutes, the creepy music starts to intensify. "Ok... I'm scared," I say, looking up into your eyes, "let me sit on you properly." .
Grabbing my bag, I slide into your lap, and you turn a little sideways so I can reach around your back. Carefully, I pull open my bag, check my spare clothes are safe, and throw them out onto a seat to keep them from getting stained. As slowly as I can, I slide the knife out of my bag, the blade alone almost as big as my forearm. Licking my lips, I look back up at you again, smiling as innocently as I can. "Are you still scared?" You ask, but I just bite my lip in response.
"A-are you ok?"
The music of the film reaches a crescendo and I know there's not a more perfect time to do this. I pull back from your chest and out of the way and swivel my arm back to gain momentum and thrust it into the right side of your back. To keep you from screaming I press my mouth against yours, silencing your cries with my tongue. Cruelly twisting the knife, I feel one of your ribs snap, so I pull away the knife and my mouth to inspect my damage. Standing up, you fall forwards suddenly without my support, and the gaping hole in your pouring blood is exposed. It takes me a second to decide what I'm going to do. Plunging my hand into your back I squeeze it in, the ripped flesh warm and flowing scarlet, and I find a hard bone amongst the soft muscle tissue. Clamping a hand over your mouth, I pull as hard as I can and feel your rib snap out. Happy with my souvenir, I pick the knife back up and stab you again and again, even after I'm sure you're dead I keep going, the euphoria and taste of blood throwing me into a frenzy. Finally happy with myself, I strip off my clothes and put on the identical ones from my bag earlier. Stuffing away my weaponry and your rib, I kiss you one last time, sticky with blood, and wipe my mouth as I walk towards the exit. Smiling at the guy behind the counter, he winks at me, unbeknownst to the fact that I only just came in 30 minutes ago. It had been easy to hack into the cinema's server and find the shift schedules. He'd have no idea who I was. "Did you enjoy your film?" He grins, and I nod in response. "A little too scary for me," I laugh, and turn to leave. The two tickets for the film we were supposed to watch were crumpled in my pocket, merely printouts I made using the hacked server. The ticket I actually paid for, for the viewing earlier on, was safe inside my wallet. Now all that was left was for them to find the body, sit back and relax as the media went crazy.
