Never too late || Narry

Prompt: Can you do a Narry with Niall in an abusive relationship. Like Harry knows that Niall loves him but he thinks he doesn't love Niall he back so yells at Niall to like " stop being so creepy" so Niall goes out a finds a boyfriend who later turns out to be extremely abusive. (Harry and Niall stay friends but theres a lot of tension.) Can you have the other boys involved in this too?

Harry didn't love Niall back. At least the thought he didn't. Ever since Niall admitted his love for the curly haired lad he'd become more open about it but nothing really changed. Harry however, felt that Niall watched everything he did just because he loved him. Harry was just being self absorbed but didn't see it. "Hey Hazza. Can you-" Niall began asking Harry for the remote but Harry interrupted him. "Will you stop being so creepy and clingy?! I don't love you back! Leave me alone!" He exploded. Niall and the three other boys stared at Harry with wide eyes. Niall blinked back tears and nodded, "Okay, I'm sorry Harry." He apologised even though he hadn't done anything. Harry nodded and leaned back, "'s okay." He answered simply.

Ever since then, Niall hadn't really spoken to Harry much and vice versa. They were still friends but things werent the same.

About a week or two later, Niall walked into the flat hand in hand with another boy. He led the boy to the couch and sat him down with him- right next to Harry. "Who is this?" Liam asked, eyeing the boy with short, brunette hair and green eyes. "Oh, this is Joshua." Niall smiled up at the boy. "Oh okay. Is he your friend or-"

"He's my boyfriend."

Liam, Louis, and Zayn smiled, naturally happy that Niall was finally trying to get over his long term crush on Harry. "Oh! Then lovely to meet you!" Louis exclaimed, Liam and Zayn nodded in agreement. Harry felt jealousy flood through him. He'd never felt like that. Does he love the Irish boy?

~Two months later~

Niall limped into the flat he used to share with the lads until Joshua insisted Niall move in with him. "Are you okay?" Liam asked, concern laced in his voice. Niall gave Liam a weak smile, "Yeah, I just tripped down those damn stairs again." Niall lied easily. He sighed that the only seat open was next to Harry but sat down. "You gotta be more careful then, mate." Harry said. "Thank you for the advice." Niall rolled eyes. He still loved Harry so much but he couldn't show it. Especially not now that he's with Joshua, who is exceedingly jealous of Harry. Harry realised a little while after Niall started dating Joshua that he loved Niall back but there was still so much tension between them. "Hey Nialler, can I come to yours later? I need to tell you something." Harry said. Niall thought for a moment; Joshua was working late, that would work. He modded, "Sure." He said softly. He actually never really spoke much to anyone. Joshua always told him he had an annoying voice and laugh so he always did his best to keep quiet. "Why have you been so quiet lately?" Zayn randomly asked, making the room look at him. "I-I haven't." Niall stuttered. He looked at the clock and decided he should go home and start cleaning. "I should go." He stood up uneasily before limping to the door. Niall wasnt sure when Joshua got so violent but it was really soon. Harry stood up with him, "Im coming." He sung lightly. Niall looked back at Harry, giving him a slight nod. They walked in silence. Once they got back to Niall and Joshua's flat, Niall escorted Harry to the sofa and sat with him. "So what did you want to tell me?" Niall asked quietly. Harry took a deep breath, "Im so sorry. For yelling at you that day and ruining our friendship. I didnt realise it until you started dating Joshua but..." He trailed off, not hearing a car door slam and footsteps nearing the door, nor did Niall. "I love you, Nialler." He stated. Just then the door swung open.
