A baby is born

*Lexie POV*

"I think my water broke." I said.

"Err-- is that a joke?" Alex ask.

"Karev shut up!" Mark shout. "Could someone give me a wheelchair."

I give the I can walk look to Mark. And I think he understand cause he only gave me his hand. I walk out of the cafeteria. Mark got Meredith paged. In less than five minutes I was in a room with all my friend waiting outside. Mark looked exited and worried at the same time and I can understand him.

Mer was rubbing my back. My OBG comes in.

"Okay, I'll need you to stave off your legs so I can see how you are dilated." She asks me

"Okay." I do it and she put her hand in my vagina.

"You're three centimeter dilated. Since its your second pregnancy, it won't take a lot of time before you're completely dilated. When the pain will get stronger, would you want..."

"No, you said it won't take long, so no."

"Okay, it's your choice."

2 hours later

"Lexie, you're 9 centimeter dilated, it's time to push."

I have Audrey in my hands. Mark went to take the twins from daycare so they can see their new sister. Five years ago I never thought my life would be like that. I never thought that I would see Mark again or have another kid with him. I never thought that my life will be that amazing.

"Mama!" I heard Leslie yell.

"Shhh honey, you don't want to wake up the baby." I tell her.

Leslie, Brian and Mark come to my bed. Mark help Leslie and Brian to sit on the bed with me. I can see how happy and proud he is. I love him and I know he loves me.

"She's so tiny, she could fit in my cars!" Brian whisper.

"She's not that small." I say.

Audrey start to move and she opens her eyes. The twins giggle. I think they are exited to have a new sibling. They probably won't react that way when Audrey will start to cry in the middle of the night.

"Look mama, she's looking at me." Leslie say.

"No, she's looking at me." Brian tells her.

"Mama, tell him that I'm the one she's looking at."

"Brian, Leslie stop, you'll hurt the baby." Mark step in."I think it's time for you to go back to daycare."

Mark take them back to daycare and come back.

"I love you Lex."

"I love you too Mark."

He take my hand and look at me in the eyes. "Alexandra Caroline Grey, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

"Mark..." I look at him, he's happy, I'm happy, and I know at that moment that we are meant to be. That we will spend the eternity together, that no matter what happen, we'll still love each other. I want to spend the rest of my life with him, for better and for worse. I can't lose him another time. "Yes, yes I'll marry you!"
