Friday night soon came around and as promised Ben was baby sitting his nephew for the first time while also Emma.

"everything you need is in the bag, you need anything just call me" Riley says.
"Riles chill I have a baby I know what I'm doing" Ben replied."yeah right" Riley says and continues to give Ben a list of things she has in a bag and intructions he has to obey.

"ok Riles I think he's got it let's go"Danny said." right yeah, remember any questions just"Riley said.
"call you, yes got it now go"Ben said.
" ok"Riley said before she and Danny leave.

1 hour later.

Chrispoher has been crying non stop for about 45 minutes, Emma was still waiting for her and Ben story time together before she goes to bed and wasn't happy to be kept waiting and poor Ben was on his own.

When Ben phone went.

"Emma do you mind" Ben said as Emma presses the green button.

"hi" Emma said.
"Emma" Kelly replied.
"kelly" Emma said happily as Ben turned and took the phone of Emma.

"kelly hey" Ben said.
"hey is this a bad time" Kelly asked.
"nah not really just you know promised my brother I'd watch his son who won't hasn't stopped crying for the past 50 minutes, and Emma who's grumpy because I haven't read her, her bed time story and putting her to sleep like I do"Ben said as he tries shushing the infant.

"Ben" Kelly said.
"Em yeah" Ben replied.
"need some help" Kelly asked.
"please" Ben answered.

10 minutes later.

Kelly soon arrived as Ben answers the door.

"Kelly" Emma said running over as Kelly picks her up. "hey" Kelly said as Emma hugs her before putting her back down.

"thanks for coming round"Ben said.
" sounded like you needed a hand"Kelly replied. "oh I do" Ben replied as a timer goes off.

"that would be for Chrispoher milk"Ben said." I'll get it"Kelly said and sorts the milk out handing it to Ben as she saw Emma yawning on the sofa.

"Emma you tired" Kelly said as she nods.
"she won't go to sleep unless I read her a bed time story" Ben said.
"well do you want me to take him so you can" Kelly asked.
"I mean yeah but with him screaming probably not get any sleep at all" Ben said as he hands his nephew to Kelly and he grabs his daughter and takes her into her bedroom.

"so I guess it's just you and me huh"Kelly said staring at the newborn as she fed him his bottle and once she fed him and burped him she soon rocked him and fell asleep.

" have I gone deaf"Ben said as she turns to see him. "shh he just gone off to sleep" Kelly said as Ben nods as she places him in the carrier.

"drink" Ben finally asked.
"yeah be great" Kelly said as he grabs her a drink and they sit on the sofa.

"How's Emma" Kelly asked.
"fine fell asleep before I finished the story" Ben told her as Kelly smiles.
"thank you for coming and helping" Ben said. "your welcome" Kelly replied as she plays with her drink.

"so I'm guessing when you called it wasn't to baby sit with me" Ben said.
"well not quite no I just needed someone to talk to and you were my first thought" Kelly replied.
"talk, about what" Ben asked.
"oh it's nothing" Kelly told him.
"well obviously not, come on you know you can tell me anything right" Ben said.

"it's just, well my brother it's kinda one of those days" Kelly said.
"the day died" Ben replied.
"birthday actually, it's the first one since he passed and I just didn't want to feel alone so I thought if I called you I knew I wouldn't be" Kelly told him as he turns to face her wiping the tear she had down her cheek before he leans in and kisses her and she kisses him back.

Before anything else happened Christopher was awake and crying again as they break apart.
"well that was great while it lasted" Ben said as Kelly smiles and he grabs his nephew.

Ben tries to sort out Christopher when Emma walks out.

"Emma honey what you doing up" Ben said. "Chrisopher"Emma said tiredly.
" did his crying wake you"Ben said as she nods. "I'm sorry Emma" Ben said as Kelly picks Emma up and Emma cuddled Kelly.

Ben changed Chrispoher and then fed him a bottle once again as he turned to see both kelly and Emma asleep and smiles before he sat down on the sofa and rocks Chrispoher to sleep.

Later.

Danny walks into the apartment.

"well" Riley asked.
"I can reassure you everything is fine"Danny told her smiling seeing his brother holding his sleeping son as he slept and Kelly sleeping holding Emma.
" look"Danny said as Riley looks and smiles.

"I don't want to disturb them" Danny said. "neither do I, let's go" Riley says as they quietly shut the door behind them.
