Blind we stumble vacantly,

it is my bleakest vision;

it makes me laugh and feel set free

to know we are so smitten,

With our lives in our heads,

we throw it all away,

and ride the waves to promised lands;

or miss, and fall a-fitting;

End is not so final,

when you let the bindings go,

and live to stumble vacantly;

again in time you'll know.

But just because it's loud,

doesn't mean its funny

and just because it rhymes,

doesn't mean its good

and just because it uses big words,

doesn't mean its clever;

But if it loves for no reason,

its all those things and better.

Just because you care,

doesn't mean you're right

and even if your stylish,

doesn't mean you're liked

and even when you find a way,

to bring it all together,

chances are you'll be ignored

and have to watch from outside.

Blind we stumble vacantly,

into the starlit hills

with a friend on our arm,

confidence fills our hearts,

that real life can be lived,

without any ills,

and when searching for the light,

we find; the beautiful night;

who gives us experiences,

a gift that's worlds apart.
