Chapter 1: The Phone - Pt.1

 You were sitting down in your seat on the plane listening to music on your phone when suddenly you felt a tap on your shoulder. You looked up to see Kai hovering over the seat looking at your phone, "agh, Kai! What do you want?" He gave you a mischievous grin then grabbed your phone. He's so lucky I am using my wireless headphones... "KAIII!!!" You quickly unbuckled yourself from the seat and start chasing him around the plane, when you caught him you pushed him into a random seat and start tickling him. "Mianhae! Mianhae! Here's your phone." You chuckled at his response to your tickles and grab your phone hastily. Getting up from next to him and walking back to your seat, you stop in your tracks and realize something. "HOLY SHITEU, IS JENNIE HERE?!" 

 Jennie had to get the rest of the luggage that you could not take and you didn't see her board the plane, this sent you into a state of panic. This is bad, this is bad, this is really, really bad! All of a sudden you hear laughing from a seat coming from the back of you and you turn over in your place to see Jennie sleeping in Chanyeol's soft embrace, "don't wake her up, Y/n. She probably had enough of your screaming today." You laughed quietly and looked down in embarrassment, Why did I have to yell at everybody earlier? They were right, we weren't late like I thought we were. Aish... I'm such an idiot. To avoid the topic, you turned around and walked back to your seat that was next to Baekhyun, feeling surprised when you saw him fully awake. "Hey Baekhyun, I thought you were asleep?" Baekhyun laughed, "No, I was just resting my eyes. But even if I was asleep earlier, you would have woken me up with your panic-stricken screaming." Everybody except for Jennie started laughing and you just sat down in your seat with a huff, getting onto your phone.

~ 30 minutes later ~

 "The plane will be landing soon, make sure to be in your seats with your buckles on tightly. You will be able to retrieve your luggage from above you when we arrive at our destination." The speakers had spoken loud enough to wake up a sleeping Jennie and she slid out of Chanyeol's embrace and into her seat that was right next to his. Seeing Chanyeol's cheeks turn a light shade of pink after Jennie's response to the announcement made you smile, they would make a cute couple. "Y/N, can I hold your hand?" You looked over to see Baekhyun pouting at you with a fearful expression on his face. I forgot that he is afraid of airplanes, he might be the eldest but he is such a baby. You nodded and took his hand in yours, wincing when you feel that the grip he had on your hand had tightened. "It's okay Baekhyun, we're almost on the ground." He gave you a sweet smile and loosened his hold on you a little bit before looking out of the window.

~ 20 minutes later ~

 You and Jennie were laughing at a meme you saw online, meanwhile, Kai was speaking with somebody who worked at a nearby hotel. All of a sudden you heard Kai loudly clapping his hands together like a child, "I GOT US A SUITE TO STAY IN AND IT'S FREE!!!!" Jisoo gave an excited skip and hugged Kai, "How'd you manage to do that?" He gave her a cheeky smile and spoke with full confidence when he responded, "my father owns the hotel we're going to stay at." Chanyeol laughed and nudged him playfully. Aish, they're all children, I swear! "In other news, Jennie convinced her mom to get us a ride to the hotel. It's a limo." Kai spoke up again and you rolled your eyes at him in a playful manner. He brags about practically anything, it doesn't matter what it is. 

 You all had gotten your luggage and walked outside of the airport, waiting for the limo to come. After a few minutes of sitting in silence, you saw a familiar face sticking out of a solid black limo. Everybody gasped, grabbing their luggage and running into the door being held open for them. "PONGO!" You and your friends all shouted in unison and as everybody was getting into the limo you gave him a big hug, "long time no see!" He was Jennie's stepbrother and he was 25 years old, you considered him to be your older sibling. (Pongo is Yoo Jae Suk, by the way, he featured in EXO's Dancing King. You should check him out!) He was born in South Korea but lived in America from the age of 2 to 23 and had moved back to Korea for better living purposes because none of his family lived in America with him. Pongo worked as a comedian and had a steady social life going, always being the light of the party. 

 Why was he here to pick us up? He lives in Busan... which is a six-hour drive?! As if Pongo could see into your mind, he answered your questions, "My friend lives around here, I was coming to visit and when I heard that you needed a lift I stepped in." You chuckled, "I should probably get in the car now, I can see that they are starting to get annoyed." You looked into the window of the limo and saw that Kai was giving you a glare that confused you. Dafuq is wrong with that guy? I only took 2 minutes... -_( '-' )_- You chuckled yet again and hopped into the limo. Examining your surroundings, you saw that the only spot available was next to Kai who was still sending you a devilish glare. He noticed that no other spots were open so he grudgingly scooted over, you sat down then grabbed his hand which made him look at you half in surprise and half out of plain annoyance. You pouted at him, "what did I do Kai?" His gaze softened and he smiled at you, "Pongo got more hugs than me..." You playfully hit his shoulder and laughed, pulling him into your embrace, "sorry Kai, that must've been terrible to endure... sooooo terrible." You dramatically leaned onto him and placed your hand carefully over your heart. He giggled and everybody was staring at you when Baekhyun spoke up, "I get why everybody ships you two, you're a cute couple." You laughed along with Kai, "we're not a couple!" They laughed when you replied in unison, this made your cheeks flush in embarrassment. Oh lord, these guys drive me insane... Jennie was staring out the window and screamed all of a sudden, snapping you out of your thoughts. "WE'RE HERE!" You looked out the window and gasped when you saw a large and beautiful building in front of you, "Kai, this is it?!" He nodded and pinched your cheeks, making you pout and give him a playful shove. "Let's go inside guys."
