Steve looks over at Herobrine who showed an odd look since he noticed that Herobrine was dead silent "you okay...?" Steve asks only to get a growl as a response making him flinch "w-what's wrong...?" Steve tries to ask but was immediately woken up by screaming from the hallway and he knew he had to be quiet so he doesn't alert anyone who was screaming or those running away from the door "someone just came into the hospital with a knife and a gun... I kinda learned that because I have an odd type of trick that lets me see how mortals die..." Herobrine says confirming Steve's suspicions but also filled him with fear but he wasn't going to let himself freeze in fear again "what angers me is that this man is your demise..." Herobrine growls and Steve is now terrified "w-what should I do...?" Steve asks but a banging from the door made him get out of the hospital bed but he has to make sure the needle to his fluid bag doesn't get ripped out but this psycho of a guy might get him since he heard a gun shot go threw the door hitting the fluid bag "shit..." Steve says then carefully removed the needle from his arm "sorry doc... I had to..." Steve says then tried to find something to defend himself with "looks like he's shooting wildly now..." Herobrine growls but before Steve could say anything his room door was opened to see the attacker and their dark brown eyes "oh shit..." Steve says then tries to get away and managed to when the psycho had to reload their gun "keep running Steve..." Herobrine said when Steve escaped from the room "no shit..." Steve says in return but he was soon shot in the shoulder causing his body to be distracted by pain then to be almost pinned but he managed to spin around and try to defend himself when he was pinned and he managed for a little while but the psycho managed to stab him getting him to scream out in pain but then was stabbed repeatedly and Steve tried to get his attacker off was when he gets shot in the head which what kills him "STEVE!!" Herobrine shouted but Steve blacks out as his soul was separated from his body now he can see Herobrine and how he looked so devastated and soon frantic apologizes spewed from him "Herobrine..." Steve says and noticed his predicament then shouts "holy fucking shit!" out of panic "Steve... I must merge you with my world..." Herobrine's voice sounded stern when he said this and he drags Steve with him "b-but we can't let this guy get away with this..." Steve says trying to struggle "when you were shot you set off the fire alarm..." Herobrine said as he watched the psycho chase a doctor but fails so the psycho shoots them through all of what happened Steve felt cold and scared but Herobrine tries to comfort him "Steve we have to go..." Herobrine says then lures Steve away "I'll let James know through his computer..." Herobrine adds to which Steve nods to then suddenly he was able to feel Herobrine's touch yet can feel a really hot climate change "w-where are we...?" Steve asks as he looks at Herobrine who was at least a head taller than him "the Nether..." Herobrine says then holds Steve's hand then takes him to a portal "this leads to the overworld... we'll head through it... also I should ask how your feeling right now..." Herobrine says looking at Steve "when I showed up it felt really weird... which is hard to put into words but add that to the feeling of being dragged..." Steve replied while looking at the portal "I see..." Herobrine says then gets Steve through the portal then he follows.

Steve once he was in the overworld looks around then sits on a nearby hill but didn't notice Herobrine sit behind him until he felt Herobrine's chest against his back and felt Herobrine's legs against his as well as arms wrapped around him then Steve heard an upset grunt come from Herobrine "if you wanted me to comfort you then you could have said something..." Steve says turning his head to look at Herobrine who he can't tell if he was looking at him but he didn't get a response either but Herobrine did let Steve change his position "Herobrine...?" Steve says to which a grunt was the only response back "it wasn't your fault Herobrine..." Steve says giving Herobrine a hug "I know... but I should have done something..." Herobrine says hugging back "look... let's just let James know for now alright...?" Steve says to which Herobrine nods as a response this time "Steve... I should have gotten your permission to just invade your mind... I feel like I'm the one who fucked up your life..." Herobrine says feeling guilty but Steve sighs and places his hands on Herobrine's cheeks "you were trying to do what's best for me... you tried to protect me... keep me out of danger... even try to learn from me how to feel love, compassion, and worry... you were even trying to understand me... and even tried to flirt..." Steve says getting Herobrine to actually look at him or what felt like a gaze on him "we can't change the past but we can make the future better right...?" Steve states to which Herobrine seemed to agree with since Steve's hands felt Herobrine's head nod "good... let's wait for James..." Steve says to which Herobrine agrees to but he still felt odd in Herobrine's world but he hopes he gets used to it since he was going to be living and staying with Herobrine now "James is not gonna be happy..." Herobrine says to which Steve nods "yeah... he's going to angry and sad..." Steve replied then goes silent as they wait for James to come online.
