Second Person POV
It was late in the evening, around ten to eleven, and you couldn't wait for your shift to finish. No one was in the restaurant but you knew if you closed even a minuet early your manager would be on your ass about it. It was only you and three other staff members there, the other three all talking amongst themselves in the kitchen. You had never really gotten along with them so you just leant against the cash register, stared at the door and waited for the clock to hit midnight.
Suddenly, the front door flew open, letting the cold winter air in. You shivered slightly at the sudden coldness. You looked up to the door and smiled at the man who walked in. He was pretty tall and slender. He wore a long coat that went down to his ankles. The two things that stood out about him were how handsome he was and his bright blue hair.
He walked over to the register with confidence but his steps seemed to falter when he saw you. He stared right at you as he walked, his mouth slightly open in awe, as he continued to walk. The both of you made eye contact for a second but you looked away and blushed slightly. You never had been comfortable with eye contact.
After what seemed like hours, he finally got to the register. You took a deep breath and looked up at him with a welcoming smile on your face.
"Hello, welcome to Panda Express! What would you like to order today?"
"I- um-"
"It's okay, take your time."
You gave him a calming smile, which he returned with a nervous one.
"C-can I have some orange chicken?"
"Of course! Anything else with that?"
"No thank you, that's it."
"Okay, that'll be £5.65 then, please!"
He payed and sat down whilst waiting for his food. You couldn't help but subtly stare at him. You had never really seen someone that attractive in person. Sure, you'd passed some in the street but none as attractive as him. Someone tapped your shoulder, pulling you out of the trance you were in.
"Your food's ready!" You didn't feel the need to call it out properly as he was the only one there.
He walked over and took it from your hand, before thanking you and leaving.
The same thought hung in both of your minds the whole evening.
"I could fall in love with them."
