I had know idea this was the start. The start of me falling so hard I could feel my face.
It was a Saturday and it had been raining for most part of the day.
"Okay, you ready Ella?" Zoe says as she sips up her bag.

Zoe's my best friend. We've been best friends for 5 years now. A friendship so strong.
We were planning to go camping with Zoe's boyfriend, Luke and his friend Joey. Originally we planned to camp by the lake but the weather was pretty shit so we camped up at Joeys house.

For some reason my mind was so focused on getting shit wrecked on the alcohol the boys bought for us, that I didn't even think there could be a possible chance that I fall in love.

My parents didn't know I was drinking. So I had to try not spill on myself so I wouldn't smell like alcohol. I knew what I was doing. I'd been out drinking behind my parents back before.

I knew by this stage I was drunk. Zoe was worse tho, she can't control herself as much as I can.

I don't remember how I wound up in this position, but I sat in Joeys lap. I never realised how perfect he was before. I didn't know if this was the alcohol talking or me. He turned to face me and he kisses my lips softly. From one kiss building up into our tongues in each other's mouths.

I rarely ever speak with Joey, I knew him from school but at the same time I didn't know him. But I'm this moment I felt like we had known each other for forever.

And it was just a stupid drunk kiss that had me falling. But I didn't know it yet.

"I have to pee." Zoe says getting up out of Lukes lap.

I get up to to go with her, we had to walk out to the bush. Our feet walked in a wobbly line and we held onto each other.

"I didn't even remember how I ended up on his lap, Zoe" I say

"I don't know either, but you seem like your enjoying yourself" she says back to me

"Shut up" I joke.

We trip over a pile of logs and land right on them, scrapping my wrists. I didn't hurt too much, but being drunk and all I don't know if I could feel anything anyways.

When we had finished and walked back we saw glowing small spots in the darkness, almost like cat eyes. We stop for a second, I assume we thought it was a fox or something.

Zoe graves my shirt
"What the fuck is that" she says
"Relax, come on" I say as it runs away

We take a few more steps and something jumps out in front of us and scares the living day light out of us. Until we realise it's just the boys...
