My parents are on a business trip is the first thought that pops up after telling myself Mother should be making breakfast by now.

It's been 2 days and you're already forgetting that Mother and Father aren't here until Christmas Day- and it's only December 2nd.

Slipping out of bed and checking my closet, I find the perfect outfit to wear.

It's my favorite one.

Chapter 2 - Prankster-Lou Who.

I walk down the stairs wearing a red ugly sweater with red and white striped sleeves, along with a white turtle neck worn under. Frosty the Snowman was on the front, though its head is cut off at the sweater's collar, making my head a substitute for Frosty's original head. There were white tiny sequins as snowflakes scattered around the sweater, covering most of everything.

I chose to wear my mom jeans over leggings because I needed the warmth from the snow If I was gonna get into a snowball fight today.

I put on a pair of white socks that had come up a few inches above my ankles. I decided on my favorite pair of shoes- my limited edition Whoverse (HAHA) high-tops. They were red with a pattern of white miniature Christmas trees on them. At each of their ends, they had little golden dots to symbolize a star you'd put on a Christmas tree.

My hair was left down- but at the very least it was combed down with a real hair comb. I grabbed my mini backpack and stuffed it with my wallet, the house keys, a hair comb, a couple of hair ties, and my little book of Christmas poetry.

I turned the door lock and walked out, the door closing shut. Checking if the door was locked, I turned the knob but it wouldn't turn all the way. That was good. I sighed in happiness since I could finally eat a good breakfast with some good coffee at the cafe.

"There she is," I whisper to the gang as we all hide behind the side of Y/n's house.

"You sure she isn't gonna get mad?" Groopert asks. "It'll be fine. Hopefully," I reassure him, me still having some doubts about it.

I turn and nod to Groopert, Ozzy, Axl, and Izzy. They nod in return, but it's obvious that Groopert hesitated for a second, making him the last to nod.

I turn my head away from them. Grabbing Y/n's wrist, I pull her as she yelps in fear- I hope she doesn't tell mom.

"Boo!"

She whips her head with widened eyes, terrified but she seems ready to fight. She looks around fearfully, no one in her sight. Slowly she looks down and realizes who grabbed her- me. Her face relaxes and sighs in relief. "Cindy-Lou," she finally speaks. She tilts her head to see the rest of my friends. "Oh hello, guys. Didn't see you there." She chuckles with a cheerful smile.

"Sorry about that prank." I put my hands behind my back. Rubbing my hair, she sighs. "It's alright. Just do something less scary- it's not Halloween, you know." I laugh. "I know, I know." I pause for a moment, thinking of something I can do with her. Or- all of us can do with her. "Is it okay if we eat breakfast with you?"

"You haven't eaten breakfast?" Y/n worriedly exclaims. "What? No! We've all eaten breakfast already. We're just hungry- right, guys?" I turn around to look for some signs of agreement from the others, them exchanging looks. A couple "Why not?"s and "Sure."s came up. I turned back around and looked at her, hoping she'd say yes.

"Hm. I guess I can buy a little snack for you guys," she agrees. Turning her back on us, she waves us over, signaling that we're definitely going.
